Woah, sounds amazing, it sounds as interior design was really your dream as that portfolio is the prove of your struggle.. while my university didnt ask for any portfolio, just a drawing test which turns out mine was crap so i had to took additional drawing class😂 i didnt have any ideas what was portfolio back then tbh 😂

Hi..It's not necessary for you to be great in sketching... ( according to me ) But if you want to you can take up drawing Classes..Yes softwares like CAD , 3Ds Max & Sketchup are used for designing. I feel if your passionate about interior designing go for it. Even I thought I wouldn't be able to be a designer bcoz even I'm not good in sketching (but yeah I completed my diploma in Intetior Designing ) I feel we all can improve and work on ourself .. All The Best For Your Future..

I do! Lots of work but I love it. The campus is great and the tutors are really helpful. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as well.

What did you choose in a-levels because at first I wanted to do architecture but then interior design caught my attention because I don't want to be an artist but I really love designing and decorating and also art in particular and interior design is the closest.

Did your floor plan have dimensions? How do you create dimensions considering the designs are theoretical

I tried to imagine the dimensions of a real cafe and made the floor plan according to those dimensions. You could also make it using scales, for example one of the walls is 1/3 of another wall. But I found the dimensions to be helpful when creating the 3D model

hey, first i arranged all my images in photoshop and once i had all of them, i made a pdf with them (you can use a free online pdf creator) and i submitted my portfolio as a pdf i'm glad the video was helpful!

SAME WITH ME!!! except im not going to graduate yet this year BUT I really wanna be an interior architect/designer but i suck at drawing. What u r gonna wanna do is start sketching out photos and start practicing NOW!!! You can do this, you still have time!!
