Can we all take a moment to acknowledge how gorgeous Sharrah is. She just gave birth not too long ago and is looking amazing! All these tips are great 👍 I painted my home Simply white which is Offered by Behr and Benjamin Moore. Both of the brands have a beautiful take on Simply white. I know when ever I need inspiration Sharrah and Becky are a go too. Love this family!

I painted my walls 7 different shades of white and hated every one! There was always weird reflection from my hardwood floors or from outside when the windows were open. Sitting on the sofa one day I looked up and noticed that I really liked my white ceiling. Went back to the store for trip number 8... Now my walls are ceiling white and it is PERFECT! Just bought an office space and I will be doing the same! Watch, I will only have to paint it once!

In my first house I used Valspar’s Cream in My Coffee. It’s a warm creamy white. I hope to use it again in my new house. I’ve never been a fan of the cool colors, I much prefer warm tones.

My husband didn't want me to paint so I waited till he went to work 😉 when he came home he was shocked at how big it made our house look and painted the rest of the walls Cream in my Coffee LOL every once in awhile he'll tell me how much he loves this new wall color! It just has such a bright yet calming effect!

So done with grey everything. Thanks to the whole grey trend for the past several years, many people are living in “battleships”. Anyway, I love Sherwin Williams Origami White (eggshell). It’s a super pale greige/taupe which goes with everything. My ceiling colour is Extra White in matte which really brightens up a room, especially with low natural light. I should mention I have a design background so I feel I have a clue with such things. I am intrigued with some of the colours you mentioned so I’ll check them out, I have cases of BMs colours so I’ll see if any of those are from early 2000s but chances are they’re newer. I used to be a colour specialist who worked primarily with Benjamin Moore (they had the lowest VOCs at the time) but now my go-to brand is Sherwin Williams. Non-toxic is super important as you know. Please let everything you get for your son, off-gass out of the packaging for a few days before letting him use it. Please share some ways to celebrate Spring with seasonal decor touches.

Yep definitely the battleships and prison cells look. I never liked gray on walls or as a main color. Always had my walls painted light colors, especially beiges.

I have a light warm grey with mirrors and warm woods neutrals. It works well without looking like a prison. It made the whites pop. Our light is different over here. Yellow even cream tones look terrible in our light. They look old and mucky. New England brand colours work here but the brand is gone now. .

Home is an open concept floor plan. Ten years ago we painted the walls MAB Paints “Halo” a golden shade that glows in the sunlight. Thinking of repainting but haven’t settled on a paint color yet.

Fellow Tulsan here: Yes, I got to choose it. I love a soft pale yellow. It is an older Behr color. It is called Vanilla Milkshake. I have some soft blue shades in other rooms also in our home.

We painted half of our home Agreeable Grey and the other half Pure White by Sherwin Williams. Our living room, dining room; and office are Agreeable Grey. Kitchen and bedrooms are pure white. We used the cashmere finish and love it. Agreeable Grey is our favorite neutral 😀

We just recently had our kitchen remodeled and, family room, dining room, living room, foyer, hallway, and stairwell repainted. I went with Chantilly Lace. We did al the woodwork and trims the same too. It is not a gray looking white in our space at all. It picks up the warmth of our hardwood floors throughout the first floor and gives a very light and airy, yet warm touch to our home and we love it! I know it goes against conventional wisdom, but we have always preferred semigloss finish for all our walls and woodwork. I enjoy the bit of reflectivity and the ease of clean up on the walls if needed.

Samplize, peel and stick paint samples, are amazing! You can see your paint in different lights and the samples are 12x12, large enough to get a real feel for that color.

We built our open-concept home. The living room, dining room and kitchen are a soft butter yellow (no gray for us - we live in the Pacific NW). The master bedroom is a medium sage green. I surprised my hubby when he was on a guys trip by repainting the only bath a dark royal blue. We find the butter yellow very soothing, no matter the season.

We just painted most of our home’s interior Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. In darker rooms we lightened it by 50%. If you haven’t played with lightening or darkening standard paint colors go for it.

We just painted our exterior BM Revere Pewter and LOVE it. It makes the house look so much bigger and goes with everything. I have 3 decks..front back and side and with Revere Pewter I can change the outdoor decor up at any time without it clashing with the Revere Pewter.

When we bought our home, 10 yrs ago, every room was white....we didn't know if it was paint or primer, lol. I like the white bcuz our house is open concept with amazing natural light. Now I want a warm creamy white in the main spaces and soft or muted colors in the bedrooms, baths, family room and basement. I have colorful art throughout the house that pops off the white walls. Love it!!

Built our home 8yrs ago. Chose Ben Moore White Dove for all trim and wainscoting. Main living area is BM Bleeker Beige and basement living area BM Manchester Tan. Bedrooms bath and office all shades of BM blues or neutrals. All cozy and warm and entire house feels cohesive.

Just did a whole house refresh over the last few months, and used Revere Pewter, Balboa Mist, and York Gray (a colonial Williamsburg color). We love them all. Our go to white is BM White Dove. I'm considering the York Gray for our kitchen cabinets, just used it on a bathroom vanity and it looks so nice with a white marble top.

We have a tan coffee color on our walls and ceilings which was there when we bought our house. It's something that was trendy when I was growing up but my husband and I are planning to repaint our house to give it a lighter more spacious feel. At our new house we used Benjamin Moore Moonlight White on the walls with Simple White trim. I did get to pick the colors. I’m loving it so far! Moonlight White is soft & creamy and then the Simple White is a nice crisp pop!

Behr White Veil. I have a mountain home with floor to ceiling windows, lots of green and trees outside. Lot's of warm toned wood beams and trim so this is a nice warm white that keeps the interior light and bright.

Excellent content on a complex subject presented in a clear and straight forward manner. Great job! My 1929 vintage cottage interior is painted in Benjamin Moore “Cream Froth” , a very warm white which makes me smile. It is like being inside a billowy white cloud on a sunny day!

I painted my house 10 years ago with BM Manchester Tan and I still like its neutral warm tones. My sister liked it so much that she painted her house with Manchester Tan; however, her light is different and you can see more of the green undertones in some of her rooms.

When we moved in our house last year it was horrible painted. We just bought a large bucket of cream white and painted everything before we moved. Now we have started renovating room by room. And it’s still a lot of white and grey that are being used. Painting the hallway has been the most satisfying. From bright orange and pine everywhere to a creamy white, new gray floors and granite tiles. And finally white roof! 🙄

I'm wanting to paint the living room a cool grey. It's been a buttery yellow for almost 20 years. It's my mom's house and she painted it this color in the early 2000s. She passed in 2008 and my step dad hasn't wanted to paint. We are tired of yellow hues and I think I have finally convinced him. Grey Mist seems to be the perfect color. Thanks for the video!

We contended with pastel pink and pastel greens when we moved into our 60s ranch! The pinks and red carpets were horrible! We changed everything except our almond framed windows, so, I chose a primary color of Behr’s ‘Soft Focus’! It’s the best cream with no yellow undertones! ...and it doesn’t make our almond windows look dirty! As for a greige, my go-to is Valspar ‘Frappe.’ We painted our fireplace Benjamin Moore’s ‘Wrought Iron’ and our doors half color Behr ‘Elephant Ear!’ Good luck with your new home! It looks beautiful so far! ...so amazing how paint can transform a space!

I was in a dress shop in Bluffton SC- the walls color changed so elegantly with the outside lighting. I commented on it. And the dress shop owner agreed that she loved it. BEHR- Comfort Grey.

I have the 2000s cream. Painted prior to being put on the market, it was a paint match to the original color. The ceilings, walls, all 3500 is cream. I had nightmares prior to closing about the paint color. It has grown on me. I plan to repaint once I get new backsplash and art.

Sherwin Williams Cardboard with stained wood trim. I chose the color for our custom build. It’s a very versatile color that goes with almost everything. I have recently wished I had painted the walls a couple shades lighter but I will live with it as it is, since we would have 3 levels to repaint.

Beige. Plain but I love the neutral background and I have only one color throughout the house. We have several highlight walls, my favorite being a long hallway with wallpaper on one side.

Antique white in kitchen and office and whitecliff beige in living room and bedrooms. Glidden premium. I painted the entire inside of my house last year. I was born in Tulsa!

My whole house interior is a pale blue. We live in Houston Texas where it is so hot and humid. The pale blue gives the illusion of coolness. Love your new house and the common sense you use in decorating it.

Lived with old school Ralph Lauren, drab butternut squash color that was already here. Chose SW Honeymilk a couple of years ago and it is perfection. Trim is Worldly Gray.

My main level is BM Moonshine. The upstairs varies by room, master is SW Silverplate, bathrooms are BM Chantilly Lace (requires lots of coats for full coverage), my older daughter’s bedroom is BM Dreamy Cloud, younger daughter’s roOm is BM Pink Bliss and our hallway/stairway is BM Misty Gray.

Hi sharrah, my whole house is in beige, so I always decorated with pillows and curtains. I have a question, We are going to be moving and selling in four months should we paint?

Ben Moore Revere pewter on walls. Dove white on trim and Wainscoting. Ceilings 50% of the BM RP then another color from the colonial collection that I can't remember. We have tray ceilings so sides are one color and top is the 50%. I chose all colors and designers have loved it. It is a beige grey. I'm told it is greige lol.

My walls are a taupe in the living room and a celery in the kitchen. I chose the colors. I have a dining room that is a darker taupe! I don’t have any rooms that are white. I love the colors I’ve chosen with white baseboards. Thank you for all you do!!

We are in the process of slowly repainting rooms in our house in Resene (NZ paint brand) half Rice Cake, which is a very light warm white trims are in the same shade but a gloss finish and the ceiling is quarter Rice Cake. Currently the rest of the interior is painted a light grey which I used to like but don’t anymore. Exterior is a colour (also by Resene) called double Concrete, which is as it sounds a light neutral grey. Roof and fencing is Resene New Denim Blue - a dark grey blue.

We just bought a house and in the main living space, all the walls are butter yellow (as well as the doors and trim)... This video came at the perfect time as I am debating what neutral color I want to replace that butter yellow with!

I have a living room that is taupe and the dining room is a darker taupe. My kitchen is a celery color! I love the baseboards white. Thank you for all of your help with all of our decorating problems! We love you and your mom!

We got our house with white walls and we added a blush pink wall, a light green one and a turquoise wall. Love them all 😍😍

The cleanest white with no gray or yellow undertones I’ve found is Sherwin Williams Highly Reflective White. I painted all my trim & board & baton in it, the walls went a soft warm beige. What a beautiful contrast. I’ve done tons of research and no other white is this pure. It doesn’t read stark institutional either. Just clean. BTW I did have my oak cabinets painted in the BM Simply white. Pairs well with the wall color.

Almost a pale aqua in family room, kitchen and master bedroom, but we are going to repaint kitchen this summer to a warm but bright white and the kitchen cabinets are grayish and I hate it, so we are going more taupe later this year, hopefully before fall or around fall time. I also want to repaint the foyer and hallway which is a cappuccino right now to something else, no idea what yet though. I love color, but not dark colors on walls, I like them soft and muted and I’m more of a rustic coastal nautical craftsman style.

I concur on "Simply White" my entire living room is Simply White. It's so bright but also cozy. And all my trim throughout the home is simply white and it is a great neutral white.

I had a friend tell me to use Kilim Beige from Sherwin Williams in my house 6 1/2 yrs ago. My house is 1200 sq feet and dark coffee wood floors and it's an old farmhouse- so recently I have been looking at new color options because I am thinking it seems too dark in my house sometimes.

I just painted my living/dining/entry way Benjamin Moore Nantucket Gray (eggshell).....it's amazing....with White Dove ceilings (flat), windows, and baseboard (semigloss)....with wrought iron and white dove(or is it dove white? lol) on stairs (also semigloss)....loving it all.

Grey, with a blue accent wall in the living room/ dining room. Got to pick the blue, the house was painted grey when we moved in and never changed it.
