Your husband was right, you've been married for 11 years, it'll be 12 in 5 months - LOL! I love that you painted the brick. Although I love what you did with the knives, I would have put shelving all the way up instead and put the knives against the wall beside the left side of the stove. Looking forward to part 2! 🥰

Thanks for all the budget friendly tips! I love seeing notifications from your channel! We are moving into a new construction home. It’s great that everything is new and beautiful but there’s very little character and also limited storage. I would love a video on storage/organizing, making a new home cozy/adding character and more budget friendly ideas (we just bought a house after all - and we are in the process of adopting so have to keep costs down at this time).

Love the butcher block counter tops. Thank you for the information. My kitchen counter is porcelain tile that match the floor. Attractive on the floor; however, questionable on the counter, ie., grout lines. Butcher block will be perfect since I have always use various cutting board and trivets to protect the tile & grout. The butcher block will add another style & texture to the kitchen. Again, thank you for the easy and cost affective change. I subscribed.👏👍

Love your style and creative ideas! Thanks for sharing. Although a seat under a set of knives makes me very nervous. FYI: I have seen designers who have embraced an unwanted wall or post by using contrasting material such as an "exposed brick look" which makes quite an intentional statement.

Love the video. I just installed IKEA butcher block counters. Would love to know what products you used to get that warm finish. Mine are a flat light color even after oiling them with the IKEA product.

You have not put a gas stove, they seem old-fashioned from the 20th century to me, you have put a ceramic hob, in Europe the new thing is invisible induction hobs, you cook food on the counter
