5MV-NB15 - Internal Cabling: as scary as it seems?
--------------------------------------
In this video I go through how I installed the 'fully internal' cables into my gravel bike frame. I used full mechanical brakes and gears so I had a set of four Bowden cables routed through the handlebars, stem and frame.
As this video is much longer than 5-minutes, I have broken it down into e sections below - all of which are much less than 5-minutes.

About the 5MV channel
--------------------------------------
My name is Terry and I love cycling. I have named my channel “Five Minute Velo” (5MV). I have called it 5MV because the videos I upload will last no longer than five minutes, many will be much shorter. Each video will cover just one subject that is described in the title. Although the channel is mainly about cycling on the road, I will also cover some light (gravel) off road riding and cycle touring from time to time. No matter what, much of the advice will be pertinent to many branches of the sport/pastime.
I am new to posting videos on KZfaq (May 2020) and I have much to learn, particularly in terms of presentation style and production quality. As such I welcome constructive comments that will help me improve the videos that I produce and upload.
There may be some dry humor in some of the videos, so dry it may not always be obvious :-).

I've heard it said that you shouldn't clamp a carbon frame, but rather use the seat post... although is that carbon on your bike as well? Btw, thankyou for enlightening me re full internal cabling, I'll make certain never to buy a bike with it :)

That's a good point about clamping the frame. There is a possibility that the clamp could crush the frame and hence damage the carbon. This is particularly acute with very lightweight frames. Also if you have a proper professional workstand, rather than the hobbyist one that I'm using, it's easier to crush the frame. So just to be clear, I'm pretty much using this work stand as a 'hanger', I only use just enough clamping force to lightly grip the frame. If you can clamp the seat pin that would be better, but my works and isn't be beefy enough for that - it was a poor purchase and I wish I had spent more. Terry
