Just a tip don't drive on the shoulder of the road hold your lane I've been told by many officers that if you get hit while driving on the shoulder your at fault

A disk needs the longest, straightest passes you can give it.... if you want a level field. If you've got ruts, cut with the ruts on the first pass, then hit it over again 45deg from a corner. Only pull it at curves while you're working the edges of the field. And, heaven's sake, do you folks never throttle down at the ends? It's much easier to turn around for the next pass when you slow down, raise implement, make turn, then drop and throttle back up.
