OMG yes, that's me. I'm 49 and if there was one group of guys that I followed in the magazines, it was the Von Erichs. I'm in Maine, which is primetime WWF territory, so we didn't get to watch them at all. I was like 6 or 7 when I found my grandfather's PWI and Wrestling Insider magazines with the brothers on the cover. The pics were just awesome and as I got a little older, I was able to read about em and see how popular they were. I'd see some small snippets of them on ESPN but that was AWA world. Anyway ...I was just sitting here, tears in the eyes and smiling as Kevin got in the ring. I felt good for the guy when he fist pumped the crowd. So awesome to see.

Kevin's still got it, that was a master class on how to do the ironclaw... most of all I'm just pleased to see Kevin happy and smiling.. a reminded me of the time that Kevin put the iron claw on Ric Flair and wouldn't let go back in wccw. I'm not the biggest aew fan but that was good.

It was very nice. However, they did imply that the All-American American in the best physical condition of his life was completely helpless against a 66-year-old man putting a hand on top of his head.

@@jeffcarroll1990shockthe Greco Roman head lock or "claw' as you call it is a dangerous hold once the claw goes magna ..jack Hager was lucky to sustain such a devastating hold and walk away with no permanent nerve damage ! My thoughts and prayers are with the Hager family and I wish him a speedy recovery

Thats what I love about AEW. The company is reintroducing the Von Erichs to a new generation of wrestling fans like myself. Having the Von Erichs in the promotion will give the Tag Division more depth and credibility. Another booking win for Tony Khan and AE-Dub.

I have always had a lot of criticisms about AEW, but one thing they do FANTASTIC, is honoring the history on this industry. While The Von Erichs were before my time (was born in '92), I am so incredibly happy when I see moments like these. I am so happy for the fans that stuff like this resonates with. Pro Wrestling is in such a great state today, and it warms my heart knowing that the ones who helped pave the way are getting their overdue respect and flowers. Again, I'm even more stoked that the fans get to see it. It's an awesome feeling to get to see your idols and heroes get the recognition they deserve.

I’ve watched videos on KZfaq showing wrestling matches that Kevin and his family competed in; not only with his sons but with his brothers as well. I’ve watched the Iron Claw movie, too, and it was very good. Sad, but very good. To me, the Von Erichs are and will always be one of the greatest families in the history of wrestling. God bless them! And may Kevin’s brothers rest in peace ✝️

Love the fact Marshall & Ross Von Erich are appearing in AEW. I've loved The Von Erich family since I got into wrestling, those WCCW days for the Von Erichs were some of the best times ever in wrestling history. Hope to see a lot more of Marshall & Ross in AEW.

Danhausen wearing a bucket hat wasn't something I knew I needed in my life until now. Also, isn't it just wonderful to see a family often known as being the most-cursed with misfortune in all of wrestling get to show that, despite all the hardships, it lives on and still fights for the glory of its name? Marshall and Ross have actually been wrestling since 2012, and _nothing_ will ever stop Kevin!

Kids? Ross and Marshall are both in their 30's and have been wrestling for well over a decade. Former MLW Tag Team Champions. They have been in Pro Wrestling Noah in Japan. I wanted ROH to sign them years ago, before MLW did.I was certain they were headed for the NWA with it's new TV deal, so I was surprised to see them in AEW and ROH on the same day. Wrestled the Outrunners on Final Battle Zero Hour. Would like to see them contend for the ROH tag titles in the coming months.

Great to see Kevin Von Erich do his thing because I appreciated his ring presence as a fan. Ross and Marshall move around the ring like their dad while they physically have the appearances of their uncles. Sometimes in life someone may go through grief and come out on the other side.

I remember watching RAW Homecoming 2005. Kevin Von Erich put the Claw on Rob Conway. I never saw a crowd pop like that for one legend! He’s truly a World Class human being.

This is what I wanted AEW to do from the start. Get the Von Erichs in there instead of Punk. This would bring the fans who love real pro wrestling back with all the memories. Too bad Cody Rhodes is not there. Von Erichs and the Rhodes family have a deep connections.

I grew up in lake Dallas/Denton and the von erichs are still royalty. My mom has autographs from all but Mike and David. So happy to see the next generation perform in aew
