Gracias! Honestly the closer, the better. But arena Mexico is a great atmosphere no matter where you sit.

Dude, you should arrange group tours for the Lucha experience. It's looks awesome. I would spend so much money on masks and stuff. I can't believe the luchadors have their own shops. The energy in the arena must be amazing. I especially like the cheer leaders. Thanks for the tour.

Thanks for this video, super helpful!! What’s the situation with getting the tickets at Reforma 222? I’ve bought tickets on Ticketmaster where it says that I can just use my digital ticket, and can’t find anything else about this online. Thanks 🙂

Ticketmaster had some issues with mexico earlier this year. At the time of this recording you could only use printed tickets. Since this recording they’ve updated their issues and digital tickets are back in use. So if you got the digital ticket, you’re all good to go, just scan at venue.

I was just there in October No issues using digital tickets. Hope that helps.

I have this on my list of things to do when I go there this summer. I have it on my schedule for a Saturday. Are Saturdays or Fridays better to go there? I also hear that area is a little sketchy... that's my only concern.

Friday, Friday is viernes espectacular, that’s there big event each week. That’s also the arena mexico event. (equivalent to wwe Monday night raw) If it’s event night, the area is totally fine. there’s a lot going on and it’s full of tourists. You’re totally fine. The Saturday show is arena puebla, not as busy, much less tourists and that’s the sketchy area. So go Friday to arena mexico show

Question for you regarding tickets. Can I buy them and print them off on paper or do I need to pick them up at will call or go to one of those booths? Thanks!

You won’t be able to print from home. You either have to pick them up at the pick up location, or since the filming of this video, CMLL has brought back the digital tickets. So you can use the digital ticket on your phone and get your tickets scanned at the venue from your phone.

That's amazing that the luchadores come out for meet and greets after the show. I would love to meet Mistico and Atlantis and get some pics with them! Do any of the stalls sell those old Sensacional de Luchas comic books?

Mistico is there every Friday, his shop is next to arena mexico. He will be there before and after the show. Atlantis you’d probably have to meet at the parking lot after the show. There may be some comics but they’re not the original, just reprints. There’s a vendor I like going to who sells old newspaper clippings.

Is inside the arena cold and are they strict with recording on your phone? How long are the event ?

No the arena is very comfortable not cold at all. They’re not strict whatsoever, record all you want from your phone. You can even bring your bags inside, you’ll possibly do lots of shopping outside the arena. Events are usually 2 hours

You have nothing at all to worry about. Ubers are very safe I like to check their Uber rating just to be extra sure But you will be totally fine.

If you leave when the show ends you’ll be fine. I would suggest against staying later if you’re with children. You’ll notice a big crowd as everyone wants to meet the luchadors post show so as long as the crowd is out, you’re fine. And that’s just me being hyper cautious. Arena Mexico is a big money maker for the local economy so people know to leave the tourists alone and not to tarnish the reputation of going to a lucha show at arena Mexico. Hope that helps
