To also nitpick here: okonomyaki isn't topped with oyster sauce. It is topped with okonomiyaki sauce. There's a specific sauce for this dish. It would be kinda like saying a dish topped with barbecue sauce is topped with ketchup.

I’m Icelandic, and we always find a way to make food savory and sweet. At the same time. Literally everything salty we eat has a sweet flavor. Blueberry lamb, cinnamon Mac and cheese, we put sugar in our scrambled eggs. The honey mustard is the sweet part
