International Space StationFull Pass from US-1755!

Welcome back!
Join me from Park K-1755, as I operate a full pass of the international space station.
I was able to make nine contacts on this pass, which is just one shy of a full park activation via satellite alone.
The most exciting contact of the day was with Mike K8MRD, where he makes his first satellite contact! Thanks again Mike, Ham Harder!🤘🏻KC0ECQ

Thank you! You are not kidding. It’s 10 minutes of chaos and when you make a contact it’s like nothing ever before. I’ve gotten pretty good at working through it and usually land 6-9 per pass even if I’m not at a park. 73!

@@W0CYC-HamRadioEndeavors I need to up my game with your type of equipment. I’ve made a couple contacts with a home made tape measure yagi and a 5 watt HT. I was elated though when the other operator came back to me… cool stuff

Nothing wrong with that other than you are the smallest fish in a pond of sharks. It is completely possible to be very successful with that setup. However….after starting my journey in sats virtually the same way, you find out it’s much more enjoyable and fulfilling to have a setup like what I have. It’s not that much money for the benefit in the long run. I have a video on the channel of my finalized setup if you are interested. Hopefully I’ll catch you on one!

It is at times. That’s why I listen, write calls down, then attack when they are strong in the repeater. It’s all about gathering info and attacking when the time is right. All that while trying to stay on frequency and pointed in the right direction😂
