watch his video on mastering. getting the levels right and everything has to do with mastering the whole track after song is done.

I usually lower the instrumental by -6 dbs and keep my main vocals in the 0 range and the adlibs in the -6 dbs depending how loud you are you can compress it or manually lower them with the gain editor

Also use the adlimiter with a 3 db gain and a -0.3 db Out Ceiling and a 20 ms - 50 ms for the master

great vid! one problem you need to set the tempo of the instrumental to your project first before recording or else all of your time based effects wont be on time (Delays,compressors)
