I’m wondering if this was used as a mini philosophical/ psychological test? kind of like who do you save, the one or the group, or the person on the tracks vs. the train engineer, etc. By making it really hard to answer multiple times, they could probably have gotten a lot of good info based on what people would choose while remaining anonymous. This is a really cool philosophical art piece website. I know of a few projects that’s tried this but I like this the most.

Like what Black Hydra said, it could be some kind of project. It is really strange how a site like this is made but at the same time, it does give a dark and deep message. The choices you make in life affects what happens in the long run. You only live once, and some choices in life can't be made a 2nd time. Also like that trolley game where you choose between running over various kinds of things.

The site makes use of a public ip address which is only reset when you restart your WiFi router. Everytime you restart your router a new public IP address is assigned.

A website that indeed has a deep message which was vague at the dame time. But for me, it means that life is indeed have their ends and sometimes things come in an unexpected ways or turn of events. As well as you have no power to turn back time to take it back once it already happen. It might be look odd and eerie on how the developers show it (that you cannot have a second time once youve chosen which from your mother and an unfamiliar child, or the website turned unavailable), just to portray real life events which makes sense. For me this is kind of unique and fascinating in terms of creativity and interactivity.

Also want to add then when you block the two addresses in your browser you will need to reload the page and it will be blank which is good meaning the standard flash is blocked from loading which wont let you run it again. Just right click on the blank page and click play to play the modified flash program that lets you run it again.

found an archived version of this site on flashpoint, stumbled across this video trying to look up context for it lol. the flashpoint version has a hacked version bypassing the "you can only open this once" thing (as well as an unhacked version), meaning i saw all three options ^_^

I just want to add that for the second address the parameter number sometimes will be number=1 or number=2 etc it might be different than 3. to check which one to block if you are using firefox right click on the web page and click on inspect element. then select network. then reload the page to display a list of files that the page will load. and then you will see the number. instead of manually blocking them you can also block them right in the web page by right clicking on them and select block URL.

It works because it’s stored in flashes logs. Not yours. But what really confuses me is how they have access to everyone’s logs. And how they can see if you have changed where you are or what your on

I went and looked through both the code of the website and the website itself to see anything of significance, I couldn't find anything. all I could find was a 0.gif which was a black background with nothing on, weird it had the .gif file ending, but there was no gif. I checked on both safari and chrome, same result each time. I did also try Gordon Gekko's methods on chrome and safari and I got a 404 message, which makes me think it either never worked or it did work but since flash is now dead, it won't work anymore. The 0.gif was also 1 pixel by 1 pixel which means, you actually won't see anything now. 1 pixel by 1 pixel is actually the smallest you can go but it is basically impossible to see what the image is at those dimensions. I took a few computer coding courses here and there so I understand code, so I was able to see through the code that it actually does not work anymore because like the video said, it is flash. I also couldn't get it to work at all myself.

I think the symbolism is that you should never commit suicide and that if you ever find someone about to end their existence you should help them out. Because if you commit suicide you cannot reverse it and you won't see the time that things might get better for you.

Theres like a save data(from flash) save in your PC which can be deleted i think you can find it in localdisk C i think you can find it on .appdata or localrom, im not sure where exactlly it was. I use this method to cheat my way through flash games by editing the save file and im pretty sure if you delete that save file you will start a newgame. Im not sure if clearing the cache will delete the save data though.

Seems like a proof of concept demo by developers who figured out how to make it nearly impossible to view more than once.

Aight so strange thing happened. Basically it gave me a second chance, so I saved the child first right then I exited and clicked the link again and it didn't say "there wont be a second time" like I thought it would say so I did it again and saved my mother then that's when it finally said there wont be a second time. This creeped me out but then I decided to do it one last time and it gave me a THIRD CHANCE and I got the third ending. I have no idea why or how but yeah. EDIT: I don't know how but I think I broke the system cause I keep doing it and it'll either say "there won't be a second time" or an "import decision happens suddenly" or what ever it says
