I am actually really grateful that this song exists. I came across it when I was in the middle of a horrible eating disorder relapse. Although it did nothing to directly impact the disorder itself, it gifted me 3 and a half minutes of peace when I was at my worst. I can listen to this song now and know that the entire year wasn't entirely wasted on pain.

Found this song by searching ‘’KZfaq is evil’’ on KZfaq and I saw a video with a weird looking pale puppet in the thumbnail, and I clicked out of curiousity. I pushed through the slow beginning waiting to find the part in the thumbnail. I watched the whole video, thinking it was pretty boring and unoriginal with no beat, a lazily written song. Later that day, the song was stuck in my head so I looked it up again. Then I watched it again and again. I have no knowledge about this band or any of their other songs and never heard of any of this before. I was born in the year 2004, and it looks like this song was from around then. This song is so incredible and I can’t get enough of it!

Rosemary Heaven restores you in life You're coming with me Through the aging, the fear and the strife It's the smiling on the package It's the faces in the sand It's the thought that moves you upwards Embracing me with two hands Right will take you places Yeah maybe to the beach When your friends they do come crying Tell them now your pleasure's set upon slow-release Hey wait Great smile sensitive to fate, Not denial But hey who's on trial? It took a lifespan with no cellmate The long way back Sandy, "Why can't we look the other way?" we speaks about travel Yeah, we think about the land We smart like all people Feeling real tan I could take you places Do you need a new man? Wipe the pollen from the faces Make revision to a dream while you wait in the van Hey wait Great smile sensitive to fate, Not denial But hey who's on trial? It took a lifespan with no cellmate To find a long way back Sandy, "Why can't we look the other way?" You're weightless, you are exotic You need something for which to care Sandy, "Why can't we look the other way?" Leave some shards under the belly Lay some grease inside my hand It's a sentimental jury And the makings of a good plan You've come to love me lightly Yeah you've come to hold me tight Is this motion everlasting Or do shutters pass in the night? Rosemary Oh heaven restores you in life I spent a lifespan with no cellmate The long way back Sandy, "Why can't we look the other way?" You're weightless, semi-erotic You need someone to take you there Sandy, "Why can't we look the other way?" Why can't we just play the other game? Why can't we just look the other way?

*to anyone who says "tHiS jUsT riP Off jOY diViSioN duUuUrrRrRrr":* grow the fuck up. every band that has ever existed were influenced by a multitude of other bands who preceded them. it seems some people like to insinuate that Interpol is the _only_ band in history whose sound is identifiable or reminiscent when in comparison to another. just to be clear, i'm not even close to being an Interpol fanboy. i mean, for over a decade now i've only liked a handful of their songs. i have always been a much bigger Joy Division fan. having said that, guess what... Joy Division hasn't been a fucking band for like 40 years now. for decades there's been an unfathomable amount of bands across the world who've more directly mimicked JD's distinct sound, not including Interpol. furthermore, those two acts are not all that drastically similar to begin with and never actually were. it's hardly even worth comparing the two beyond a surface level acknowledgement of Paul Banks's acute vocal resemblance to Curtis in their earlier days, due only to them both happening to be baritones and Banks utilizing the already established delivery technique of staccato-like annunciation. and, again, guess what... Ian Curtis and Paul Banks are certainly *not* the only two singers to have ever used that sort of technique. if there's but a one possible _wrong_ way to go about listening, analyzing, and discussing music, then it'd be doing so with the very same kind of jaded, unintelligent, and ill-informed mindset that shows itself when asserting those lazy, recycled critiques. ya'll should try picking up an instrument and having a go at writing songs yourself some time. i'd bet my literal life on how not a single one of you unremarkable twats are capable of coming up with material that others would listen to and say "wow, i seriously _cannot_ think of anything that's ever sounded like this before. it reminds me of absolutely no one!" TL:DR: the tendency to talk about music by arbitrarily shitting on super successful, chart-topping, award-winning bands like a bunch of pretentiously contrarian music bloggers w/ zero readers should have stopped being a thing before you left high school.
