I myself being a black woman, I have a mixed daughter and people are surprised that I am her mother. I think its because most mixed kids have white mothers and black fathers. I raised my daughter to be herself and embrace both sides of her family

Being a mix of white and Mexican, I was bullied over my skin color and was raised in a very small town in North Dakota where skin was seen especially if you were dark. I'm glad I found your videos. Thanks for the positivity.

You guys and your family are so beautiful. I love your humor too. Back in the 1970's people weren't always so nice. My late husband and I went into a drugstore and there were 3 black guys heckling at me and saying I must be so kind of a freak to be with a blonde white guy. He almost got into a fight with them for calling me names, and being an ex-Marine he probably could have taken all 3 of them. I just held his hand tighter and asked him to ignore them.

Am from the Caribbean my dad is black and my mom is white & Indian, am brown skin with wavy hair and my husband is white we have 2 daughters and and they look more white, and when they were younger people used to ask me If I was baby sitter cause they don’t look mixed.people can be rude & ignorant . But that’s how it is. When my husband and were dating his family wasn’t too happy about it,cause they are very racist and they wanted a white woman, but is ok 34 years later we still together.my family is multiracial they are fine , love ❤️ is love it doesn’t matter what color you are as long as you love each other ❤️🙏🏽

In all honesty, we, as humans, do recognize external appearance characteristics, no problem with that. "However, what humans do with that information is what matters".

I also am a mix child and raised in the 70S so the times were completely different for me expressing my self but I found most of all that I always look at both black and white to be my blood I befriended any one that would treat me with respect I feel like its a blessing for me and I have embrace it all my life

I've been married to a white Dutch man (Dutchies come in all colors😉) since 1986. I live in The Netherlands and for the first ten years we lived in one of the larger cities and mixed couples were all over the place, so we didn't stand out at all, years later we moved to a small village where couples such as ourselves weren't so prevalent, so we did have many people staring but that was the extent of things and for the most part people were very frendly towards us. We still live in the village and now that it has grown and more people from other parts of the country have moved here, many younger mixed couples , we don't stand out at all. For the most part walking the mixed couple tightrope isn't something I've had to think about and I just live how I live.😊

I'm from a mixed family. My mum looked like she was my baby sitter. My sister is darker than me. No one has ever cared. No one ever labeled anything. If the question of ancestry comes up, it's a fascinating conversation.

I love your videos, I’m biracial with a white mom and black dad. They taught my sisters and I to love and embrace ourselves. Also to not treat others differently based on race or skin tone. But I’ve dealt with racist comments from both sides, even teachers.

Our ancestry analysis came back sadly as white bread, when we had hoped for a marbled rye.

I love this guy, my friends are just like him. They don't see me me as my colour, they are just good good friends. Some i have known for 30 yrs and they've never changed towards nor i towards them despite the problem in the world that stir racial tensions.

Y’all relationship is beautiful and it’s God that really put you two together to raise your kids. I wasn’t fortunate enough to have that support from my kids father. My daughter got bully thru school because she looked white, so she never really had friends because she didn’t look black enough or didn’t act white enough. My son looks Hispanic and always was the life of the party. Got along with others until their father mother pointed out he was to dark. God is good and I am truly bless that I kept my faith first and always pray and just trusting in Him. As always get video 🙌🏾.

Love your videos, just stumbled upon them. I myself was adopted into my own family by my grandparents who were in an interacial relationship in GA. My siblings or technically/biologically my aunt, Uncle, and my biological mother (who I found out was my mom at 11) were all different shades of greatness. Growing up like yall I didn't question my white mother when kids asked why is your mother white? I'd respond why isn't your mom white, to me she was just my mom and the question was puzzling. We are all human is what I say, I agree

Hey guys I've been married for 28 years and my wife is white. We have a biracial daughter and thank God she's never had any issues . For me on the other hand I've dealt with a lot of hatered early on from my wife's family but we stayed the course and 28 years later still happily married. Great channel guys keep up the good work. Hello. I am a new subscriber and im happy to be here. So im adopted and i dnt know my biological mom or family at all because she gave me away. Couple years ago in 06 i found out that my biological mom was/is Caucasian. She died when she was 37 and i was 3yrs old. If you look at me im exotic with beautiful features extremely high pronounced cheekbones etc. I do not look American so I've been told but i also do not look biracial. Im really darkskinned. Honestly i don't know what to believe. I would like to know but by New York State law they don't have to tell me anything. You both are beautiful and the love that u have for each other is beautiful. I am a mixie from Belgium: my mom is white/Belgian and my dad is Moroccan but from the original Touareg people. Ina married to a lovely man from Curaçao. We also took Dna test and I have like 8 etnicities (Nigerian, Scottish etc…) and my hubby 12!!! Imagine us having kids. We are all from everywhere and soon people will be more mixed.

Hi my first time watching your channel. I am from Barbados and my late husband was Canadian.we have daughter but my husband never discuss race with April his love for her was inseparable . But April and I would discussed race and color . I would reinforce that she is 😍 intelligent and smart. To be honest we never encounter any major problem. Just minor problems when April was in elementary school which she handled because we shower her with 💘 and affection. Also, I instilled my moral and values. She respected and love her dad so much. We were travellers we took her every to every vacation spot. She started to travel at 4 month. It was a trip from Montreal to Alberta. For an interracial marriage love and communication says it all. April was a bit rude I can count them approximately 3 times. You know the lip at times.Overall we were a happy family with my son and my husband other 3 grown children. Today April did her university studies major in history minor in French.Her dad was an historian and he taught her well. And I am retired RN. Actually she is spoil child with love 💘 and affection. Your husband seems to be cool like my husband.And the wife seems to be cool also. In life we will have our ups and downs but our personalities remain the same. Keep on smiling wife, I love your big 😀. You all seems to be a ❤ in couple. My husband and had cherished each other. He has past on and I will never date again. Why? I’m glad some people don’t have a problem or overcome the problem maybe, because at one point as a white male I was married to a beautiful black woman, we lived in a mostly black community, 2005-2011, and we had ppl stare and make shitty comments alllllll the time, several times we had confrontation that was completely unwarranted, it wasn’t our demise but black folks really hated on us, our families were both really accepting, anyone that didn’t kept their mouth shut, I had some white males make comments to me as well usually before knowing I had a biracial family , but overwhelmingly black folks had a problem with us, very vocal, idk, crazy world, however single blue eyed white male coming in at 6ft here, any beautiful ebony queens looking for their own euro king in TX! 😂

I can relate however I have a question how do other ethnic groups categorize them and do they embrace one ethnic group over the other because overtime my daughter went to both sides of the family growing up however she said she feels more comfortable being around my side of the family
