My wife and I are both retired and she is not able to travel very much so taking this virtual tour is a real treat for us! In our younger years we made a yearly trip through Cincinnati from Cleveland to the Tampa area to visit her parents. Your video brings back great memories. Thank you for sharing!

I was born raised, educated etc.etc.in Cincinnati. Retired now and go to Florida most times in the winter. For as nice as winter is in Florida, there's NOTHING quite like coming around that bend going north and seeing that wonderful skyline. There's no place like home!

Yes, your right about that! This is very little traffic for Cincinnati! My wife and I were there recently and it was so much traffic that it took a lot longer than this video.

I drove from Atlanta to Canada about two years ago and I kid you not coming into Cincinnati and looking at the breathtaking view of downtown Cincinnati! I realize that every time I think about that view I said there is a God! So with this video and anyone who has ever driven across the interstate If you have never been to Cincinnati you need to go one time because it has an absolutely breathtakingly beautiful view of downtown Cincinnati in front of your face I have never seen anything like it before thanks for posting this video! #GodsArchitectureatwork #Amazing #DowntownCincinnati #thefingerofGod #Godputthespin #OnCincinnati

I remember having a similar experience when my parents took me and my sister to see Disneyworld in Florida in the spring of 1978. Dad did all the driving all the way there and back. On the way back, it was quite late, about midnight or so, when we reached Cincinnati it was about 10pm. We hit the crest of the hill before the descent into Cincinnati, and I was able to see the majestic view you mentioned. It was quite impressive and something I've never forgotten. We wouldn't reach our home in Canada for another five and a half hours from Cinncinati, so it was a long time to be cooped up in the back seat of the car!

My most favorite site ever in life, coming around that last hill on I-75 North, when all of a sudden, the Cincinnati skyline rises right in front of my eyes majestically, I'm never prouder in life than that moment, my hometown, the place of my birth, and the place where I want to die. At the end of the video is very sentimental for me as well, the Dana Avenue/Montgomery Road exit off of I-71 North, is one that I've used a bunch in the past, my late Grandmother lived on the corner of Dana Avenue and Montgomery Road, I can't help but to think of her when I see that exit, smh, awesome video, which is making me homesick, lol...

I can relate. I lived in Lexington and went to a lot of Reds games. I loved coming over that hill and seeing the skyline. That's actually why I am here right now, for a little trip up memory lane.

Changed a lot on the KY side. No more Jefferson St exit because the tight bend was taken out of the hill. Now you have to go to 12th street and work your way back. That road was not finished when I started driving fall of 1962.

This video sure brought back memroies. Back when I was a kid we often went to Cincinnati because my cousins lived there. When we lived in New Jersey we had to use the Pensilvania Turnpike to get there and it was a big drag. Plus the 55 MPH speed limit just made it even worse. I was happy when we crossed the border into Ohio. Thank you for posting. When is your next live feed?

@@shannatravis6427 I was so sad when they tore it down. I lived in Florence and we had a drive in as well. When the leaves weren't on the trees we could see part of the screen. Of course that one was torn down before I was old enough to drive and really enjoy it.
