Through developing a variety of communication modes, students help to empower individuals with this dual disability through facilitating their access to information. Skills are developed both in-class and off-site during field placement experiences. Students who are flexible, creative, motivated, enthusiastic, and who possess strong communication skills tend to excel in this program.
