We had the pleasure of chatting to Swedish pop talent Dotter ahead of her return to Melodifestivalen with It's Not Easy to Write a Love Song. The songstress takes to the stage on the 24th of February in Eskilstuna in the contest's fourth heat, which will see her hope to match the success of her prior Melo anthems Bulletproof and Little Tot.
Dotter shared how her Melfest preparations were going, talked drawing influence from a wide range of stars from Kate Bush to Doja Cat, and what we can expect from It's Not Easy to Write a Love Song. The star delved into how the track feels "organic," "dynamic," and addresses a very honest kind of love story aligning slightly more with Bulletproof than Little Tot yet shining in its own right.
