Actually where from you have got the information it's kind of wrong she has been born in Murshidabad in West Bengal and after that because of her father's transfer she had shift two Rajasthan and their she have been brought up she is a Brahmin Bengali women anyway you might feel like that she is a Rajasthani a Hindustani and all but she is not actually she is a Brahmin Bengali woman and her parents are also Bengali her whole maternal family father family whole I just composed of Bengalis so I don't think you are no want to comment all of that crappy things over here alright

Shreya Ghosal is a Bengali check Wikipedia.... Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghosal both are from Murshidabad,a district of West Bengal. Kumar sanu, Kishor Kumar,Abheejit there is lot of name from Bengal. Our Bengal is the capital of art and culture.

listen....nw just 4 ur kind information, if a person is born in london, hw cm he's an indian!!!!!!!!! does indian govt says so???? or just u think like dat.??does he get citizenship of india just bcoz he's a hindu??? or bcoz he takes indian food??? cn u call all muslims born in india as pakistanis???????? its da place of birth dat determines..... likewise a person born in rajasthan is a rajasthani n should be proud of her motherland n she cant say she's of west bengal

Well a person born in rajasthan is a rajasthani, a person born in bengal is a bengali. so bieng born in rajasthan, shreya is rajasthani, no matter wat her surname is!!!

@@SoumalyaPatra07 As per wikipedia information 13years back, she was born in Rajasthan. So the argument should be based on the information available in that time. Though I sound logically fallacious here, but out of respect to nostalgia and my younger self, I'm not going to delete my 13 year old comment.

@@orthosarthakOh my God! Check all sources. She was born in Murshidabad, West Bangal. Their family then moved to Kota for occupation. I have been to three states all my life so far, so am l native to all the three states? It's my familial relation that decides my ethnicity. She herself hinted at her ethnicity (Bengali) in two of her interviews. Shall I drop their links here?
