Kohdi is a liver failure survivor that struggled with a 24 year drinking career. After spending 16 years as a celebrity DJ he found himself deep in the grips of alcohol.
His life began to end on July 11, 2017 when he woke up with bright yellow skin and eyes. Shortly after, he began throwing up blood as the paramedics arrived.
Immediately, he was rushed into surgery where they sewed up two veins in his throat that had slowly filled his stomach with blood. Due to cardiac arrest, ended up in ICU...twice.
Spending the next 250 hours in extreme withdraws where he was not expected to live. Through all the pain and extreme trauma, Kohdi survived and lost over 60 pounds, his ability to walk, and had to begin his second chance at life from less than nothing.
He spend the next 4 years solely dedicated to improving his health with physical fitness, personal and mental growth studies, and a firm commitment to creating a life worth living.
Aside from being a nationally recognized a social media influencer, he's also a multi-syndicated high-ticket program developer with numerous programs helping people take their lives and business to the next level.
He is an anomaly and his inspirational message of empathy, kindness, and compassion has branded him an International Best Selling Author for his contributions to the book "You Can Overcome Anything - Despite The Barriers In Life".

Hello Kohdi. I am glad that you are doing your own thing, going your own way. I like your cheerfully rebellious attitude. I am glad you don't feel the need to blend in.

Lying to yourself and denying the fact that you have self destructive behavior routines is a very common thing for humans to do. Lots of people repress their awareness of the fact that using alcohol has bad consequences both socially and emotionally for years before they finally realize that they have a drinking problem.

I've been sober about 5 years. I don't remember the dates at all. That feels great. My ex's story is awfully close to yours. It is possible to come back from death. But you have to make the commitment to Live. Keep sharing your truth because you can help so many who think it's too late. Thanks Kohdi

To me it feels like the chronic drinker is living in sealed, grey, gloomy bubble of alternate reality where they assume that drinking is necessary to having fun. When they see you, Kohdi, laughing, smiling, chatting, and having fun they are shocked that you doing all that without being in the grey fog of alcohol consumption. They may start to silently think "Have I been lying to myself? Is there actually laughter and fun times outside this grey, gloomy bubble of alcoholic drinking? Have I been lying to myself that this grey bubble is unbreakable and there is no hope of changing for the better? That's a scary thought. I wonder how he broke out of the alcohol bubble. "

I was watching a makeover show recently [ spring 2022 ] on tv that focuses on this flashy guy coming into a business and taking it from low sales to high sales and high profits. In this episode the target business was a tavern with a dance floor on the side. I was surprised that one of the recommendations from the business guru was to cut the dance floor space by a fourth and use the place for tables instead. The guru said "There's too much room on the dance floor. Too many people can dance at the same time. You are only making money off the people who are sitting and drinking. Therefore, we need to make sure there are more people sitting and fewer people dancing." The changes were made and everyone left the makeover scene feeling happy. I was absolutely not expecting the business guru to say that the dance floor was too large.

Some cynical bartenders might be thinking "Why is this guy here taking up a seat? A person who sits in a seat like that usually spends $50 a night on alcohol. This guy is depriving me of the chance to get $50 into my cash register. "
