It’s been a long 7 years since we’ve heard Anette Olzon (The Dark Element, ex-Nightwish) release a solo album. However, a spark was clearly in the air, as she and her label both felt, around the same time, that it was time for a new release. We spoke to Anette at the end of August about her upcoming album, “Strong,” and the songs therein.

We're pretty excited to share this video with you. We had a lovely chat with Anette Olzon about her upcoming solo album, "Strong." We discuss things like nursing, the new album, and her experiences with bullying. The transcription of the interview is also available on our website, you can find the link in our description. Enjoy! 🖤

So happy for this interview. As someone who was bullied as a child I was sad to discover Anette also suffered under such treatment. Glad she has found her strength. "Strong" could not be a better title. I've followed her on social media and grieved for her on her father's passing and celebrated her nursing career. I have had enough experience to know that nurses are the ones who keep you sane in hospital. Thanks Tuonela.

What was lovely? The part where she states that she only wants to take care of NORMAL patients (puke, that is a BIG NO NO in nursing) ALL patients are unique and again normal. Or the victim part about bulling, abuse AND of course the NW horror No, not lovely at all.

I like her activity and performance with Dark Element and Nightwish but the solo album is most likely nice too. Kind of a dream is still there if once one could see her joining on the stage of Nightwish concert in a kind of 25 years mile post show or alike.

Yes there's plenty of Anette-love. But I can understand her. In social media some people turn so mean. I quitted following Floor's videos a year ago: her fans had so many who were toxic both towars Anette and Tarja I couldn't watch those videos any more, grew tired replying. Even today in my alerts are Floor's fans insulting Anette in Anette's song's page.

She was not kind in this interview. She mentioned she only wants to take care of NORMAL patients (pfff, that is a BIG no no in nursing, what the hell is normal?) and as nurse we can't request where we are needed. What a hero, to avoid Covid, while nurses are really needed big time. yeah, I have 3 children too. The rest of the interview was all about victimizing herself again (bully, abuse, NW) She is very full of herself.

I still wonder if lovely nurse Anette Olsson has ever performed again since 2012 the Imaginearium songs Slow Love Slow, Turn loose the Mermaids, The Crow The Owl and The Dove and Last Ride of the Day? In my opinion with her smooth and calm approach, especially in the intro parts, she performed these studio songs the best. In the Dark Element you can feel she is more at her place. And overall she is an 😘 adorable person. Greetings and Strong wishes from the Netherlands.

@@TuonelaMagazine Thanks for your reply and the fine interview with Anette, and might you contact her, give her also my very kind regards. One thing I wanted to say is, many of the bullies are in fact antagonist agents or controlled by agents -- all types of agents get antagonist agents, and even I get them sometimes since I've had the Quarantine System program forced on me which is the program one is made to go through and complete in order to be given the full world power after the system is replaced, which is soon... I don't know if Anette is allowed to talk about the agency, but she's in fact a type of agent which is also very obvious from the body movements and the things she says such as having constant dreams/nightmares/night terrors, her becoming a nurse and not being around Kv!d patients etc because all agents and people controlled by the ClA get constantly hypnotized every single night and the dreams they induce are meant to mask the hypnosis, and also all agents get some sort of benefit so in a case like Kv!d they aren't really made to be around the Kv!d patients as they are still considered an asset to the organization... I hope the ClA stop with the secrecy soon, as at the moment I'm the only being allowed to freely talk about the ClA and their covert operations online or in real life, but I find the secrecy rule unnecessary at this point as they already hold the full control and if they got some of their agents who are public figures (some of the public figures are in fact agents, not just directly or indirectly controlled by the ClA) to publicly admit their (direct or indirect) ties to the organization, I'd most likely stop getting negative replies from people not believing the facts I'm posting just because it sounds too incredible or surreal... As a matter of fact, there are more agents in the world today than one could ever imagine and also, the ClA has always controlled the music/movie/tech industries as well as all public figures and brands (for over a century) and all doctors/nurses and military or ex-military people, and they have always controlled the Internet, their programmers being the ones who created it. All the people that were hired to help me with things are either ex-military or people with medical background that also get some similar benefits as long as they are actively working for the organization (one of them even admitted that no one ever dies on their shift, which makes sense) and I am the most protected being on Earth (federally protected by the ClA/NSA since day one) and my main protector in real-life is one of their top agents so all my info is 100 percent accurate as I get all my info from him!

Thank you Tuonela bringing Anette's interview for us! 👍 ❤️ Always loved how Anette's singing is so alive, she is not a boring singer, there's so much variation she does to keep the songs interesting and deliver the feelings. I haven't yet heard a single song from Strong. Listening what Anette says... I'm staring to think is it something like Amaranthe, melodic metal with growling and clean vocals? Well, I'll find soon enough. Hah, hah, 🤣 sounds funny Anette didn't know if her husband can growl. Would think it had come up! There's a lot of meanie people in social media like KZfaq, but also a lot of love. I think if Anette could skip over the hateful comments, she would get more strength and and good feelings than feeling bad. But of course them hurting messages weight more 😭.

Anette, I am a registered ICU and OR nurse and to me ALL patients are normal and we don't run away for pandemics, but take CARE of our patients, because we are needed. Why am I not surprised you refused :/ Normal patients....that is really bad and now I understand why I always had a bad vibe if I watched your interviews. I think thats just because English is her second language. A lot of people say "normal" to fill in a word but it comes off condescending. I dont think she meant it the way you took it as but if you want to dislike her thats your prerogative! 😊
@eyesofadream
@eyesofadream Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I for sure do not think she meant it in the negative context you might be thinking. Swedish are strong and fluent in English, but ultimately it’s still their second language. As the other poster indicated, it’s basically just a fill word. If you look at a lot of Swedish Melodic Metal, while the lyrics can be quite intricate, you can often find places where the words are a bit plain, where they substituted for rather surface language, and this is simply because without that natural intuition from a born language, there are simply limitations. She didn’t have to work with patients in a way that could put her life in danger, which prior to COVID was not a normal scenario, and I think that’s what she meant.
