When they're talking about "not heavy enough for Nightwish" - Marko says "We're Nightwish!" He's absolutely right. Tuomas is the composer (along with Marko) for Nightwish - THEY determine what Nightwish is - not the fans. If the band follows only what a certain fanbase demands, it's called cubby-holed and the band doesn't grow. They have reached far more people over the past ten years than they ever did in the beginning. The fan base needs to grow, but a few are not willing.

With the addition of Floor Jansen and Troy Donockley, Nightwish is complete! Just Fantastic!!

I just watched another interview with Sabaton, and i got the same vibe from them They are all just so kind and down to earth. If you look at the popular 'artists' of today, they are very arrogant and some of them even don't allow you to stand next to them when taking a photo. These guys just seem like your next door neighbours. Metal Forever!

Nightwish is the one band I have committed to re listening to each album several times to better appreciate every corner of the albums

I particularly liked Emppu trading a hat for a guitar at the end of the Elan video. I hope the members all continue to see each other as partners and keep making music together.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Tarja or Annette were so involved with the early rehearsals and experimentations. I think that having Floor involved from the beginning makes all the difference. It makes her more invested in the group dynamic.

Okay so what makes Nightwish great to me? Well let us say it is the composing combined with the talent. The production is nothing short of brilliant . There are subjects in the words that I do not agree with...but I am looking at the brilliance of Tuomas , and I hope I spelled that right . From that fans reaction posts on youtube , I have not seen anyone picking up on the classical influence of this brilliant composer. I hear old Europe classical sound. I hear a little Ireland, Scotland , and of course Finland within. the composing and combining that with the metal tone . Add to that a well thought out stage production and it is no wonder why this band has had great success. I have listened to the other two singers in the older records and compared them to Floor , and in each case they were good , but lacked the dynamics or came across with a well rounded tone that fit into the musical performance. Her voice just fits like a glove and her stage presents is far more creative. Great job Nightwish !

The Best Female Voice In The World In The Best Band In The World "Nightwish "

Needing to listen to the album more than once is very accurate. On my first listen, I didn't think they were really making the best use of the most metal singer they have had. Even now, I wish it had a bit more crunchy guitar, more of Floor belting, and I was really hoping for at least one song with Marco singing lead. That being said, I can't stop listening to Elan, EFMB, and GSoE. They are absolutely fantastic and Floor makes full use of her range and control. I hope this is just the first in a long line of Nightwish albums in the Floor era.
