A wonderful interview with John Piper. It was eye-opening for me too. I didn't know Piper has had significant marital struggles with Noel (though both deeply love each other) as well as struggles with two of his four kids quite possibly not being Christian (e.g. his son Abraham Piper is vocal about his atheism). At the same time, it's so refreshingly encouraging how open and candid John Piper is about his own struggles and even sins. As Christians we are all forgiven sinners, no more and no less.

Piper, why can’t you apologize? You said horrible things about prolifers three years ago and despite being called to repent you ignore our pleas. You called us naive. Presumptuous. Liars. Everyday the wound you inflicted festers more and more.

What could you possibly be talking about? Piper IS a prolifer! He's even gone to jail as a prolifer.

Hank, John Piper doesn't need to apologise for being right. I don't see you apologising for spreading lies, fake news and fallacies. Time to stop the Trump worship.

You need to learn the meaning of forgiveness. Even if Piper had sinned against you, and he didn’t, you are not doing one of the most fundamental thing that Jesus calls us to do. Every day the wound festers more? Then you are not forgiven, for you do not forgive others.

@@TheDareD3vil Piper needs to apologize to the thousands of babies who will never escape their mother’s wombs. Or to the children who are having their penises or breasts cut off. Or to the victims of our current spate of wars. Or to the victims of the increased crime rate. Or to the poor being battered by inflation. There is no reason for Piper to apologize to me. He needs to apologize to the nation.
