The interviewer is thought to be a member of University of Edinburgh staff and the interview is thought to have taken place in the years shortly after Nyerere was elected Prime Minister of Tanganyika in 1961. Following the interview, there is some silent footage, presumed to have been taken in the vicinity.
We know nothing more about this so would be interested in hearing from anyone who does.

Mwl was an eloquent speaker of english and always seem to understand the subject matter. I like his broad understanding of issues, localy as well as interbationally. Rest in peace baba, we are missing you.

The late Mwl Emphasized the importance of investing in education for the development of Tanzania.... What went wrong?.. There is no a clear relationship between the number of graduates and the economic status of the country
