Bible buying guide I have a question. I'd look to the KJV Store for a premium KJV with high quality leather if God is willing to grant it. Would you say that next to Church Bible Publishers that KJV Store has durable long lasting Bibles that can take years of work?

Hey Jeff, thanks for your comment and honest feedback. It looks like you've left several comments on other videos as well concerning our bibles as well as many other publishers. We're sorry that we've apparently let you down and made you upset. We looked back at your orders as far back as 2020, and see 5 total orders with us (thanks so much for being a valued customer), but I only see 1 order for a KJV Store Published Bible, and that was the Note Taker's Edition on 7/25/21 that you mentioned above. I see no notes at all under that order where you contacted us to report the problem with the uncut page. If you had done so, we would have happily replaced it for you. We cannot solve problems that we don't know exist and say as much on our return policy. We want to take care of you and every single customer, but we must be contacted first. A "page not being cut" is a printing problem, not a binding problem. And while our bindery does "fan the bible out" to try and make sure all pages are loose, and in good condition, when you're working with thousands of book blocks at a time, it's clearly easy to miss some things. An uncut page is the most common printing / binding error, and as you said, we've seen it with every publisher, big and small. But this typically happens at a less than 1% rate. And if the uncut page had been discovered, that would have kept that book block from being bound in the first place. "Trimming it" would never produce the quality you are clearly looking for. Also, gold gilded page edges and art gilded page edges are the most delicate process of binding. They are easily scratched or damaged in-transit, when removing Shrinkwrapping and opening the bible for the first time, and in lots of ways. The gilding isn't meant to last forever. It's purely for aesthetics, and has no bearing on the content or consumption of God's Word. Manufacturing is an imperfect process, regardless of how meticulous the craftsmen & women are. We can only speak for our own KJV Store published bibles, but what we can tell you is that while God's Word is "perfect", the people who make them are just imperfect human beings in need of a Saviour. Imperfect or not, it would seem that our bibles sure are rated well: www.thekjvstore.com/kjv-bibles/premium-leather-bibles/the-kjv-store-bibles/ It also seems like that wouldn't be the case if "the majority" of customers were receiving them with the flaws you are describing. If you continue to look for "perfection" in bible publishing, you probably won't find it. But those looking for consistent quality and our best efforts as a company and publisher, as well as a promise to make any problems right, we believe should look no further than The KJV Store. @@TheKJVStore I cannot remember exactly what I typed... but for any damaging remarks I am sorry... And the reason I did not mention anything at the time.. I noticed it.. was... in most cases... the publisher or seller... wants the person to send back the faulty product.. I simply do not have time to do this... And I do not feel it would be proper on my part to keep the product.. and get a different copy as well... so I did not make contact with you... I basically figured.. the issue was about as resolved as it is going to get.. look from a buyers point of view.. most bibles are charged at the moment they are shipped.. and then the buyer has to wait.. ((who knows how long ).. to finally receive the item... it just was not worth the frustration I had already trimmed down the page as well as I could... one could barely even notice it now.. so it just seemed kind of a moot point.. any comment I left was left perhaps in the midst of my disappointment and frustration... @@TheKJVStore I changed one of the comments I found... it was Not my intention.. to slur the KJV STORE... I know you people are trying to do the best you can and still trying to keep the costs down to us consumers... but My remarks were out of frustration.. since.. every Bible I have ever seen demo-ed from any publishing house seems to come to the ones demo'ing them in flawless condition... Not a stitch out of place or un even.. no blotches in the gilding/.. or un even shading.. and no scratches... I just wanted to know why the demo'-ers... get the flawless renditions.?. but as you said.. us consumers just have to realize... there is No flawless bible..?.. really..?.. I have bought Bibles from Christian Book stores.. that I hand picked off the shelf... over 20 years ago... that are still flawless to this day.. I have had bibles where rain has speckled the gilding... or people's grabby hands have scratched the new gilding...but I know how to keep a bible in great shape... even in regards to taking the bible out of the box... and I am sure many people buying bibles on sites... know how to take care of their bibles.. to assume that NO bible is without some flaws.... I disagree... I will agree that some or many are without flaws... I just wanted someone to be aware.. if a bible goes out flawed.. it should be noted with a price reduction... even C.B.D... does this much... and sone of the bibles they considered flawed may just have lighter red inking on some parts of the N.T. than in other places... but at least they Notice the flaws.. I just think in all fairness... if someone on a website is going to a show a bible produced by your publishing house... the consumer who visits that site should expect no less of wuslity when their own copy arrives...Without the hassle of contacting the publisher to let them know about it... p.s.... I have never seen any bible demo-ed that was in Worse condition than what I received... from any publishing house...

from Len: People that love them do swear by them, but that's all I know, other than they are a pretty old / antiquated study bible format.

I actually got new this morning. They're expected sometime after February 2024.

I have the old note takers from LCBP with the smaller font and the newer one from CBP. Two of my biggest problems with the new one is that the text goes deep into the gutter and the paper isn’t thick enough for taking notes on both pages of the paper. When they made the font bigger they brought the text into the gutter where’s the older version isn’t in the gutter. I’d rather have the smaller font out of the gutter.

Also I would rather have the 45gsm India Paper like the Allan KJV Brevier Clarendon Wide Margin than a concordance in the back.
