Mariah Avila I still hope Keira Knightley, James McAvoy and Saoirse Ronan do a movie together. Has been too long since Atonement.

As a literary nerd, I love it when the author of the original work gets significant input on the adaptation.
@c17sam907 жыл бұрын
Anne Rakowiecki while it's good it can also backfire because with an adaption you need to alter things and sometimes the author hates that

This is true. Sometimes things just don't translate between mediums.

this film ripped out my heart, stomped it on the ground, picked it back up again sewed it back in, then just to put me in a gas chamber. i couldnt stop crying even from the first scene where you dont really know whats up, you just kinda think it could be a single mom in a studio apartment

i have never seen a comment I relate to on a soul level. The film genuinely broke my soul and I feel maternally depressed when I think of Jacob Tremblay as jack now :(

wow so when I watched the movie I was so surprised it was actually good even after I read the book. now I understand why. they should let more writers write their script it seriously helps

how can Brie Larson give such a terrific performance at the young age of 25 it's damn impressive

it’s even more impressive when you think about the fact that she doesn’t have a child. portraying what it’s like to be a mother and what a mother feels for her child must be so difficult when you haven’t been in that position yourself

Wish I could be there to see Jacob Tremblay watch himself as an adult, maybe with kids of his own. I’d be so proud to have a dad who touched literally millions of people with his performance.

very good movie, in fact, it’s one of the greatest movies in history. But still, there are some bugs in it, for example, the mom absolutely can smash the sky window out of the room in let say how about one hour? But she didn’t do it for seven years.
