True. I remember Buzz and Dale being very enthusiastic in interviews about the album and the planned shows, and then completely out of the blue the whole thing was dead and swept under the rug without much explanation. And they seem very tight lipped about the matter in this video.

Omar probably got too out of hand for them. Artist ego bullshit. Just a guess. Mars Volta died because he thought it was too one dimensional. Insane to think they were one dimensional.
