i liked this interview. so natural and taylor's so relaxed

I was eleven when I started smoking, and basically my friend said "Here, try this," and I was eleven, so yeah, that's what happens man. Get over it. I saw pics of Taylor smoking on the set of Gossip Girl before she was in the band when she was like 14, I don't think she's at all trying to look cool. The fact that most people think she is, means they think she looks cool doing it, so if that's what she was going for, mission accomplished.

She actually started smoking in her "innocent style" era, when she started appearing as jenny humphrey. So it's got nothing to do with the rock star image...

@kathayex3 well is there a certain age you should start smoking at. she can do what she wants. im pretty sure there is photos of her smoking before she was in the band. so its not about looking like a rocker

I love these guys but it made me sad when I saw Taylor smoking because 2 out of my 3 favorite bands or band members of them smoke but any way their choice not mine:)

Yeah, cuz growing up and becoming the person you want to be doesn't have anything to do with it. Like you weren't a dumb bubbly fourteen year old, and then more rebellious by age 16.

You keep missing my point. I was a teenager not too long ago too. The point is, you're assuming she isn't being herself, the fact of the matter is, she does her thing, and she smokes. People smoke. That doesn't make her a "poser", and I don't know how the fuck you know what you're talking about. I'm not saying I know either, but you're acting like you really do, and you don't.
