Not even just every member of his coven (and don't forget, some of those members are from the old coven as well. Some of them aren't young Vampires at all)... but he also psychologically froze the entire restaurant they were in, and most likely people out in the street. The way the entire place went dead quiet, until he released them. Didn't even blink about it, didn't faze him at all. Lestat makes 30 or so men leave their house in Nola, and he's bleeding from his ears about to hit the floor. And we're meant to believe that getting a small group of humans to say "banishment" took ALL his strength. We're meant to believe that Sam SAM was enough to stop him from doing anything, when it took multiple of these Vampires to force just Louis off that stage. But 400+ year old Armand, couldn't get past Sam. Like, I'd laugh about it, if I wasn't so enraged.

@@RowensARTstudiomy question is, why would he lie about this? In the book, I believe he did I because he wanted to separate Louis from Claudia. In this, Louis and Claudia were already separated. They were meeting one last time before they went their separate ways. He didn't need to use the coven to kill Claudia. I don't understand why he orchestrated this, if he did.

I think that’s kinda the point? Only a episode or two before we see him clearly show that he has the power to wipe out the entire coven at once, and in this episode he does nothing against them. He wanted Claudia to die, why? Idk, but he definitely wanted it to happen. Maybe he used Lestat as an example of what not to do. Sure Louis had chose Armand over Claudia, but there was still a chance, no matter how small, that eventually Claudia would take Louis from Armand as well. Armand could not allow that. I don’t even know where to start. Absolute amazing episode. My heart broke for Madeline. She could have betrayed Claudia and she stayed true. That’s what made me tear up. Seeing Lestat this episode was everything I needed. He was a drama queen, a comedian, he was petty, he was sorrowful and he was heartbroken. Sam Reid nailed that performance. Claudia went out as defiant as she lived and you cannot ask for more than that. I say it every week but this was the best episode of the season imo. I appreciated your response to this episode Will. It feels like getting lestat’s POV is the last piece of the puzzle we need. So many hints there more going on that Louis is yet to accept or find out, everyone’s acting was incredible, especially Sam Reid when he was playing lestat was he was breaking free from the script the coven was wanting him to stick to, Armand obviously lying about his involvement. I hope there’s answers in the finale.

Lestat insight in Claudia's turning is probably one of the most creepiest moments of the show. The way Louis drags her like a doll, him being the one who "babytrapped" Lestat, although it's disturbing to look at, it's not that far from Louis's personality. Jacob Anderson had said in an interview, Claudia was, for Louis, more of a possession, a dollish child - Baby LuLu is caught in a trap.

You can literally hear Lestat telling Louis that Claudia is too young in season 1. He says it in French and Claudia is losing consciousness, so it’s easy to miss if you don’t speak French or have subtitles on. Separate note - Armand’s use of his powers is so inconsistent. He could annihilate the coven if desired and did previously, in the book. But then again, if threatened by Lestat’s presence as well, I see the hesitation. The only problem with that is book Armand didn’t win a fight against fledgling Lestat, but show Armand appears to have won. And it was book Armand whose maker, Marius was overwhelmed by a coven that did accost him in the very way show Armand is afraid of now. And Marius is much stronger/older than Armand is here. So, it makes a strange amount of sense that Armand fears the coven.
@remholloway2579
@remholloway2579 28 күн бұрын
I still feel like Armand is lying through his teeth…. Like I get it with Marius, he had no affiliation with the coven that attacked him. Armand however is the leader. Even if the powers he had over those vampires do not apply any longer since Santiago was made leader, he could have worked with Lestat to devise away to save all three of them. Armand was not Lestat’s maker so they could communicate mind to mind. Both of them together would be no match for all of those vampires. I could understand why Lestat didn’t PHYSICALLY try… but Armand… he’s lying…. And this is coming from someone who still very much loves Armand. But nah this is just wrong… 😢

Also, the difference between Lestat and Armand parts in Louis's abuse is so interesting, because Lestat (rightfully so) does accept it, he is very aware of his actions and abusive behaviours, although of course accepting them doesn't make it any better. While Armand, who has also been controlling and abusive towards Louis, just can't seem to accept his role in it, or look back on how he may have affected him. He is incapable of catching on to his abusive patterns. Lestat sits on the front chair and confesses, while Armand has a nice place in the audience and blends himself with them, he could not prevent it. And this keeps going, from Paris when he minimises his role in the play until the modern day interview, hiding behind Rashid making himself look like a blended in character.

But that scene when they were in their bedroom, and Lestat asks if Louis was going to leave with Claudia, he doesn’t answer that question directly. Louis was essentially threatening him, that’s when Lestat lost his temper and all of the loneliness, frustration, and rage that he’s been feeling over the past 7 years just came out and he took it out on Louis. Flying up in the sky and letting go of Louis wasn’t necessary. Even if he wanted to scare him a little but he could have caught him halfway down. But he didn’t he just watched. I think when it comes to your question of "what's real", the only things Louis corroborated were his turning and Claudia's. Personally speaking I think everything that was clearly the script was very obviously a warped version of the truth meant to depict Louis as the predator (such as saying he hunted Lestat when there's absolutely no way that was the case). I think with the fight scene, it's left to us to decide how much of what we saw actually happened, and it's worth noting that it actually doesn't contradict what we saw in season 1 - but I think what they are saying with this is, no matter what mean things Louis said to Lestat, Lestat was the instigator and the abuser. Even he admits that. Louis fought back, and the trial is trying to spin that into him being the aggressor by downplaying everything that happened before and after. I always love your reactions! Thank you for sharing

I personally believe the fight was the way it was shown this episode. I also think that this is one of the examples that we have of Louis possibly descending into madness. Or at least a more coherent version of what Nicki went through.
@Hannah-rn2jn
@Hannah-rn2jn 28 күн бұрын
@@remholloway2579 Personally I feel like both depictions of the fight are true, since like I said they don't contradict each other. That being said I'm not sure if Louis' "madness" is really anything more than a person pushed to the absolute brink and fighting back the only way he can. I cannot on any level believe that Louis is more "mad" than say Lestat or even Armand. It's a matter of framing - like Armand saying Louis "acts out" when Louis reacts with justified anger, or the play's script saying Claudia self-harmed "for attention". Louis is someone who has gone through unspeakable horrors and trauma and him being suicidal and violent when provoked is par for the course for almost any vampire in this story. I don't buy that he is uniquely "crazy" and in fact I think it's a label others (esp. Armand) put on him to dismiss and control him. Just my opinion though, we'll have see what episode 8 has in store for us!

@@Hannah-rn2jn... Well I mean both versions of the fight do technically contradict each other by who ends up the most visually bloody.... I mean by the end of it we saw Louis ended up the most bloody but in the first version of the fight Lestat came out SPOTLESS with zero blood on him... Whereas in this newer expanded version Lestat absolutely had wounds on his face that were bleeding. 🤷‍♀️ That's a pretty big difference IMO... But yes, you're absolutely correct that the dialogue that we hear during the fight doesn't contradict what we previously saw. What's different is whether Lestat looks like an untouchable God or Louis fought back and got a couple licks in at Lestat and hurt him as well ...that is different... An important difference for some people, probably But I do absolutely agree with you as well that Louis isn't... Special in his mental health struggles compared to any other vampire. 100%. They're all pretty much equally unhinged, IMO.
@Hannah-rn2jn
@Hannah-rn2jn 28 күн бұрын
@@AnxietyRat That's true re: Lestat being bloody! I guess to me that feels like more of an aesthetic difference, and I assume the truth lies somewhere in the middle. But it doesn't really change anything in a meaningful way, Louis and Lestat essentially agree on the chain of events themselves and about who had the power and was the abuser in the fight and in their relationship.
@remholloway2579
@remholloway2579 28 күн бұрын
@@Hannah-rn2jn I think when I am referring to Louis madness I’m not just going off of what is presented in the show, but also of the books as well. This isn’t much of a spoiler I assure you… but in The Vampire Lestat there is a passage there that states essentially, that a large part of why Lestat fell so “fatally” in love with Louis was because he reminded Lestat so much of Nicki. And like Louis, Nicki did struggle with deep depression before he was turned. Which only got so much worse when he did in fact become a vampire. Now think of the circumstances surrounding how Louis was turned…. He had just lost his closest family member (his brother). His mother blamed him for it, logically he knew that was wrong, but deep down I’m pretty sure he did feel deep responsibility for (which is similar to his state of mind in the book) He lost his best friend, the only person that truly knew him without pretense (miss Lily). Add in the deep catholic guilt which is why we find ourselves in the church confessing to the sin of sleeping with a man. A man mind you he had built a deeper relationship with than all the other “experiences” he had with other men up until that point. It was love he felt for Lestat one can assume, or very nearly love which adds to the guilt. Add in the fact said man would not leave Louis alone to process his grief. Louis was full on losing it in the confessional… and still Lestat would not let up. Despite the “romance” of the scene, and the words he may have said the sway Louis, you cannot ignore the absolutely traumatic scene that took place just before, or the in fact dubious consent that underscores his turning. Which Louis, like Nicki blames Lestat for (towards the middle of season 1 episode 3). Also another key element of Louis characterization, at least while he was in New Orleans is the fact that yes he is now a vampire he has lol this power…. But he is still black. I think part of the reason he was “convinced” to turn in the first place is that he thought by becoming a vampire, he could leave his blackness behind, but in fact he took it with him. I think the mental gymnastics you would have to preform to survive in this context is worse. You have access to all this power, the actual ability to bend someone to your will. But you cannot fully utilize this power because if you do your loved ones, your community at large may be in danger… and then when you do finally snap and “act out” the consequences are so pervasive and so dire, that it can cause you to slip further into the mental hole that is your sanity. The fact that he had access to all this power, but he still had to go through someone else (Lestat) to “advocate” for him. Is another layer of this shit pie. After the events of season 1 ep. 3, I think for the longest time Claudia was Louis only tie to sanity… we saw briefly what happened to Louis the first time she left (season 1 ep. 5) and she was not permanently gone, she was just away…. But now that she is dead…. God only knows what will happen. Sorry this is so long… I just love how this show is so deeply layered. The fact that they switched the race of Louis and didn’t have that just be that. This change could have very easily made this show disingenuous and cheap, but the way they made this change fold into the larger story; whilst not a central part of Louis identity, it does inform a lot of the consequences that do take place later on. The writers and show runners keen understanding (or at least the ability to truly listen to) how race slightly or at times majorly skews interpersonal relationships and who people interact with the world is a large part of why I am so enamored with this show.

What a brilliant episode. Memory is a monster, indeed. Loved getting Lestat's POV - half as full of crap as Louis's, half actual that's his real perspective. Especially the "come to me." Lestat, being a telepath, would've been privy to Louis's truest, most shameful, most "American Puritanical" desires. I still see Lestat as the primary predator there (the elimination of Miss Lily being strong evidence there), but let's just say one doesn't kill two priests in a church as a marriage proposal without a strong confidence that it will be accepted. Madeleine, we hardly knew ya, but to care so much about her death at the end. I did not expect it. Superbly done. She and Claudia would've made a coven to outshine all others. And, Claudia, I just need to sit with. Went out like a boss, of course, but her disgust at almost being made a sideshow at her own trial (I forget the phrase she used about Louis and Lestat's romance). Her encouraging Madeleine to take the deal, and then being chosen first, for the first time in her life.... Ah, no words.

You can hear him tell Louis "she's too young" in French but you don't hear the whole scene because Claudia is going in and out of consciousness.... So yeah we have to kind of believe that Louis is correct in Lestats version being the more truthful one. But yeah the whole "Louis was actually the predator and hunting Lestat" that is just the play bullshit script for the human audience. Pretty much every vampire in that room knows that that's NOT how that would play out in reality. There is absolutely zero chance.

lestat is being forced to say that part. any time lestat is being ‘truthful’ or at least saying what he believes is true, santiago and the coven challenge him on it. they didn’t challenge him about louis pursuing him, so it’s likely what they’re forcing him to recite. even the way he speaks during that moment tells you that he’s performing, and you can see that it pains him to see them being punished for what he’s saying.

Knowing what was coming for Claudia and Madeline didn't lessen the impact at all. A brilliant episode but I have one small problem with it. We see the scene of Claudia's turning. At the beginning of episode 7, we were specially shown flashbacks of moments from the first season that were mentioned in this. (10:04 great point👏😁) Claudia's turned was not reliable, the way it happened was shown here. The lighting, Lestat's behavior is completely different from season 1 and we see how it all happened. He warns Louis about the laws, and that it shouldn't be done with children and will cripple her. Louis, who was selfish towards her in this, and acted only out of his desires without thinking about how she would live with it, and he dragged her body across the floor like a doll, begging Letstat to turn her seeing in her redemption, pillow, replacement etc. Lestat thought about Claudia. He screaming "but you must care" because he knew that Claudia would be at war with herself, would suffer and grow old locked in the body of a child with the attitude of the world to herself, and he was right. And Lestat is only doing this because of Louis, who manipulates his biggest fear of loneliness, he used Lestat's own fear of being abandoned. It’s was so painful. Did that for to have something he wanted, Claudia whom he didn't even know or genuinely care about. Cursing her forever. Like a selfish manipulator. And this is why Louis feels ashamed for this moment in Dubai 2022 because he knows that he was guilty for Lestat and Claudia. Louis also can be a violent, manipulative as many vampires. And hypocrite as we see in the fight ep 5. - this version pretty is confirmed by the dent on Louis' coffin in the first season. He decided to beat, threatening and saying disgusting things for Lestat not because of his hands on Claudia's neck. Later he would also strangle her, and did not believe, was not angry that Armand was strangling her. And it is the presence of flaws, terrible and good sides of each character that makes this show so incredible and amazing.

My take: Armand orchestrated the whole thing. He manipulated the coven into executing Claudia and Lestat into giving his blessing, and now he knows Louis will not stop until he destroys both the coven and Lestat. So Armand will have Louis to himself and be rid of the coven's threat. But I doubt that plan will work.

It is a sad history. Writing the novel was how Anne Rice dealt with the loss of her child. She had started the short story in college but never finished it. But after her daughter died and she stopped drowning in the bottle; she pulled out the earlier draft and wrote on a therapeutic binge until it was finished. I think the entire thing was written in less than a week.

I would like to say about Armand. I really like how gorgeous Assad plays and portrays him in the series. And fuck, Armand was playing the victim again in this episode😭 And I love how DANIEL SEES all the shit in him, and who he is😂 The man who “I could not prevent it” - Armand 500 years old is a powerful vampire capable of controlling the minds of others and who, with a single movement, put the ENTIRE COVEN unconscious on the table in episode 2x4. “I could not prevent it” no, you didn't want to. But what is funnier than Armand being held captive by WHOM? SAM'S? Armand, even if you lie, you need to do it more convincingly😭 Megaladon (Armand) vs a street dog (Sam) What so easily gives away the fact that all of Louis's memories of Armand are fake is the fact that Armand is a theatre kid. Every memory of him reads like a piece from an overdramatized play: The crowd suddenly stops OHHH!!😱😱 the vampires looks at each other and can't understand what's going on, everyone is in shock OHH!!!😱 seeking for the person who's causing the audience to hesitate... Santiago notices Armand and then... harsh ZOOM in on Armand!!!!🤯 his eyes QUIVERING with his shakey desire to save Louis!!! the score SWELLS!!!! the audience ROARS HE SHAKES AND SWEATS, AUDIROARS. Armand :( he couldnt escape to help his beloved because SAM was guarding his box:(( had to watch his beloved suffer and tryyyyyying find a way TRAGIC🤯. The zoom on Armand face reads so much as a Bollywood/Disney hero having a great moment LMAO. And btw, during the scene when Louis is buried in stones, SAM IS WITH HIM & and then Armand tells what happened to Claudia without Louis, and at this moment Sam is standing next to Armand. Wow, does Sam have a twin brother?)))) And similar details and illogicalities of Armand's role in all this can be traced throughout. I'm soo waiting and exited for the final 8 episode, which will be just as heartbreaking, exciting and epic 🥹❤️‍🔥

Well Claudia could still be there if Armand didn't plan all of this tho the great law are just make-up law because armand didn't want lestat dead eventough he made claudia, in the book the first time he fell for louis because he is lestat's fledging, a person armand loves the most is lestat even more than louis, the show just hasn't go there yet, but after he really fell in love with louis, he wanted louis for himself by planning to get rid of claudia since in the book, louis & claudia slowly has romantic feeling towards each other and armand can't take it anymore, the actual reason why armand wants claudia to die isn't because of her age but his insecurity not being able to be louis' priority because later on lestat becomes a rockstar and violating the rules too by showing his existence to human being but still let them live lol

@@ljk242_ well at least that's a theory. I remember in the book he just wanted Louis for himself. In this, he already had Louis to himself. I can see him wanting Louis to destroy the coven. But, if he's so powerful, why not do it himself? Accept possibly to keep his hands clean. I can see him wanting to seem like a hero to Louis, but this just seems to be a weird way to do that. He already looks bad for turning him, Claudia, and Madeline over to the coven. This is a strange way to appear as a hero.

@@cullenarthur8879I think for show Armand, Claudia had to die because Louis would always be tied to her as long as she existed. To him it didn’t matter if she left town. I also feel he’s truly pissed that she tried to kill Lestat too. That love/hate thing between Lestat and Armand seems to be is real in the show as well. Claudia’s death in the show still gets Armand every thing he wants which is Louis, Louis blaming Lestat, revenge on Lestat, and the coven will be destroyed.

The scene of Claudia's death was terribly heartbreaking, painful😭 Even before her death, she remained fearless and unconquered, promising revenge🥹❤️‍🩹 The perfect vampire. Claudia raising her eyebrows and tilting her head up and Lestats barely there smirk. She was fiercely proud and stayed unbowed to anyone until her last moment, he was prideful of her being so strong and unyielding to these clowns even at the last moment. This IS HIS daughter. His dark child. The same fighter as himself, he loves her very deeply in their complex relationships with each other. They both loved each other, that's why it's so heartbreaking. Their relationship is one of the most important in the chronicles❤️‍🩹 And the fact that she turned in his direction when she was dying was not out of hatred, or "punishment", but despite how much she hated him, he was the only one she trusted and reached out to as a parent😭💔 From an interview with Sam and Delainey: «I mean it’s very complex, but they’re very similar. He’s probably the more strict parent because he actually has experience some pretty rough stuff as a vampire. So I think he was trying, he was trying to protect them and protect her. He probably would have been a bit stricter, but he always loved her very, very deeply.” @Sam Reid. “And then when I turned to him, away from the light, it was the first time that you could see somebody, but [it was] an outline. And I was concentrating so hard on his face, and it was so sad. Claudia’s last look to Lestat as how any child would look to a parent in a moment of distress. The way that she looks is like all hope is lost, like, 'Dad, I need you. She [Claudia] trusts him [Lestat] the most out of everyone in the room even though she hates him. They’re familiar with each other, so she’s turning to her parent to help her.” @Delainey Hayles.

The narrative spun by the Coven (and Lestat) got me so pissed off because they're leaning into stereotypes: Louis, the black man being a predator, Claudia, the black woman seducing poor Madeleine into vampirism, Louis and Claudia being painted as aggressors and as people who are senselessly violent especially to Lestat. Madeleine looked less roughed up than Louis and Claudia and because Santiago got in her head, he compelled her to keep quiet throughout while the two Black characters 'made a ruckus', Santiago offering only Madeleine a pass while Claudia and Louis did all these things because they felt their lives were in danger or didn't know the Great Laws....ooooooh Santiago when I get you? sleep with one eye open. Armand, my baby girl, the Vampire Sam couldn't restrain a puppy but ooookay. Louis in Dubai going "My man tried soooo hard he really wanted to do something but he was scared :(" GET OFF THAT BENCH LOU I BEG Claudia finally has someone who chooses her. Madeleine chose to die with her companion rather than go on without her and we don't get to hear their final words to each other because we, like Louis, have exploited Claudia enough. We've read her diary but no more, what she and Madeleine said to each other is not for us to hear and they don't owe it to us. FINALLY, Claudia has SOME choice over her words and life and she chooses to withhold those words as she loses her life. Happy pride month Sapphics! Armand has deluded himself into thinking he couldn't do anything, like we applaud Louis for his psychosis but we should give a hand to Armand de Wifeguy Louis needs it to be true that his husband of 77 years COULDN'T save Claudia and Madeleine instead of WOULDN'T because if it isn't true, Louis doesn't really have anyone in 2022. He seemingly for now has put the Fred Stein pictures and the mindwiping aside because Louis NEEDS this marriage to work out but Armand possibly just having sat there and watched as Louis, and what he thought was Armand's family too, get tortured then executed would send him off the edge

WILL, THANK YOU SO MUCH🙏🙏❤️ You uploaded your reactions very quickly and you have some the best iwtv’ reactions. It can be seen how sincerely you love and are interested in the show. And thank you for your communication with viewers! It was one of the most heartbreaking episodes in the series💔 Delainey Queen performed her role brilliantly, amazing, and give tribute to the character of Claudia🥹❤️‍🔥 She nailed it👏😭The whole team working on this show and the actors just have to get their awards for the level that they show us! As a person who has the most favorite character Lestat, I’m SOOO GLAD😭 to see that you understand that his actions in the trial don’t happen "for real": including because of who is telling the memories :)) and in general not by his will. I wrote about it in your comments last week of episode 6. Because even without reading the book and not knowing WHAT happened to him and WHY he is there, from the first seconds of his appearance - it is clear how he does not want this. It’s clear from his speak, body language, actions, his gaze and face expressions HOW HE Doesn‘t WANT THIS and how HE HATES IT. How he suffers inside himself because he is forced to be there. Show literally been given EVERYTHING need to see that. He is forced to play the script of blaming those he very loves, his family, and is kept under mind control (behavioral changes & if you‘re rewatching episode you will see how Lestat is shaking like in trans in the end, how he weak and want to sleep when cameras dont on him), and EVEN WITH THAT, he continues to deviate from the script, cries, apologizes, and is ready to die with his family saying that he broke the second law. He was really the only one who REALLY *“couldn't prevent it”* The situation he is in with his family Louis and Claudia is terribly heartbreaking, It's terribly heartbreaking, especially when you find out exactly what _cough_ sOmE OnE vampire…🤩 did to him and how did it for that. The range of Lestat's emotions in this episode was incredible. *Sam Reid the actor that you are* 🥹🛐❤️‍🔥

Claudia deserved better. It looked like Lestat felt remorse for Claudia. Or am I Tripp.

Claudia deserved to finally pay for her actions. You're right about Lestat feeling remorse and regret and taking no satisfaction in her destruction, which certainly can't be said for her when she and Louis tried to murder him.

Lestat is not happy because he was manipulated into participating and his daughter died before his very eyes. He was DEVASTATED.

@@JevjevjevjSome people in these comments are being purposely obtuse about this. The only vampires that didn’t want to be in that theater were Madeline, Claudia, Louis and Lestat. It doesn’t matter that Lestat went off script many times to own up to his part in their fight. He even fell on the sword to absolve Louis of any wrongdoing…and then, he went back on script blaming Louis again. But sure, this is Lestat’s big revenge plot 🙄 I understand Louis is meant to hate Lestat even more after the trial, by design. I’m sure our favorite gremlin extraordinaire, Mr. I could not prevent it, had a hand in that design. He was able to get rid of Claudia and drive an even bigger wedge between Louis and Lestat. Kudos to him…for now.

Lestat adored his daughter. He resented her bc of Louis. He knew she was a mistake and always gave her respect. Even insisting they give her her final request. He was literally in a trance right before they gave the death verdict. Rewatch and pause when you see him next to the judges. Hes all loopy like they were hurting and distorting his mind like they were doing to claudia and louis. This was Armands plans all along. Get rid of claudia, make louis officially want nothing to do with lestat, and get out of the coven with no hard feelings.

This episode breaks me, Claudia and Madeleine shine on this episode, I cried for them, and I hated everyone (except Louis and Armand). And her last speech, I do hope she k*lled everyone after what they done! And I won't be surprise if Lestat fans, on the show, I mean, people STILL blame Armand. Even when Lestat DIDN'T tell them the laws, and when HE just watched Louis almost get off like Claudia and Madeleine, if it wasn't for Armand saving him. To be honest, I don't believe some of Lestat's statements either. And I didn't feel sorry for him, and this episode it made me hate him more! I know people will try to make Lestat a "victim," but he is JUST AS GUILTY for k*lling Claudia and almost Louis. Again, the show is different in the book. Lestat in the book was more passionate and told them to leave Louis, whereas in the show, he was effin cold and didn't do anything. Armand in the show showed more feelings and regret, whereas in the book, he was the one who was calculated and cold. Santiago and the vampires of the theatre are also to blame, but for some reason, I like Santiago because he makes a good villian.

Thank you for judging the book and the show and their own merits rather than holding fast to the source material and deeming all the changes as wrong or placing the total blame on one parties shoulder. I’ve read too many book readers comments blatantly ignoring what’s being presented on the show and just assume that this version is wrong, or characters or what have you…
