In this particular apartment complex, in order for the water to be shut off in one apartment, is by shutting off the entire building's water every 30 minutes, which costs around $150. The problem is that the landlord is an absolute cheapskate. So instead of doing what's right and simply pay the $150 fee, she decides to cut corners and hire this self-appointed plumber to try to fix the plumbing and repair the leak WITH the water on (Instead of turning the water off to avoid paying the fee), which ends up going haywire as you see in the video. In the end, two apartments were flooded, the tenants were vacated, and the tenants filed a lawsuit against the landlord. The landlord is so cheap on repaying the plantiffs that she actually tried to throw the tenants under the bus and blame them for the situation, but luckily, this video evidence proved otherwise, and the lying, cheap, narcissistic landlord was held accountable and ordered to pay all parties. I worked in a call center for a large insurance company and we used to joke all the time in my office that we insured stupid. Why did Dub get mad at the city confiscating their car when the car wasn't supposed to be parked there AND had hundreds of unpaid notes? Dub, I didn't think I had to explain this to you, but it's a REALLY simple concept. You pay the notes and don't park where you're not supposed to, you keep your car. Driving is a privilege, and if you abuse that then whatever happens as a result of your own negligence is your fault. Period.
