Anyone who *steals* a *dog* is a straight up monster. Like wtf. There's just no call for that. My cat acts like I've been gone for years instead of hours every time I leave the house. He waits for me by the door and then follows me around crying until I pick him up when I get home from work.

When I was 8 years old My dog Max jumped the fence and ran away. For two years we did not find him. One day we were visiting Charlotte which is three hours away from where I live as we got off the airport and went to a local McDonald’s we saw a dog across the street and my dad said that looks kind of like Max. We walked outside so he had a collar and sure enough it was my dog.

One of the ways cats can be recognized by owners is when they nutered like my cat, they put numbers in their ears so if u lose ur cat and then find it some time later, u can check their ear numbers to make sure they’re yours

I pet a mountain lion. He drops by my deck a few times a month to nap. You won't ever see an obituary for me though. At best you'd see 'local idiot loses hand'. Because I only crack the sliding door just enough to get my hand through, then lock it so it can't open further. The pucker face he makes when getting chin scratchies is cute as hell. But for real. I don't know how people keep big cats. This one loves me for some reason, and it hurts. Licks my hand, and its like a literal belt-sander. 3 to 5 licks and I'm bleeding.

I just got back from a 7 day cruise on Sunday, my dog spent the week at my sisters with her two dogs and her kids... We got home first, and my brother in law brought my dog home to us and boy oh boy was the whimpering NONSTOP for about an hour. He was so excited to see us!

In my neighborhood everyone let their dogs out all day run around and in middle school and junior high my dog knew my bus what time my bus dropped me off and would always be waiting in the drieway

As a Navy vet, he didn't need to worry. Jody took care of his wife and his dog while he was away. Jody is every wife's friend when the ship leaves port. Any young men reading this and thinking about serving, STAY SINGLE! It was the best advice my dad gave me.
