About the Eminem Good guy sample, they actually didn't use the original Glassy Sky song. Instead, they used a cover version of it from the KZfaqr LeeandLie (AmaLee). She got an official credit on the album and everything

real talk japanese jazz and smooth jazz is fire, they use it in their movies alot one of the most famous are yoko shimomura the famous street fighter game composer ...isoa abe is another one... lots of their music is sampled by rappers and singers

No, that's wrong. Daringer sampled Captain Future which is from 1979. The anime sample 808Melo used is from 2006.

Anime songs especially the most new ones have to be edited pretty hard sometimes, Japan don't believe in fair use, So, Pick the oldies. heck the old ones has some great jazz and down tempos that are great for sampling.

as a 80s anime fan, lots of their songs got sampled by rappers especially in the 2010s when it got big over here in america.....the japanese anime in the 80s was a huge inspiration for me as an artist and rapper
