Yoann Barelli X Into The Gnar

Yoann Barelli X Into The Gnar

2 жыл бұрын

Few weeks ago I went to Colorado to visit Guerrilla Gravity to meet all the people behind these awesome bikes, see how everything is made and rode some rad Colorado trails.
We spent a couple days on Floyd Hill and wow, this little mountain (at 3000 meters elevation haha), has such a huge potential and already some burly trails worth filming a Into The Gnar.
So that's what we did hahaaaaa !! In this video you have a really pumped me, creating and opening new lines, having a blast doing my job :).
I hope you enjoy this one everyone, because I did.

When you ride double black diamond trails in BC you can ride any whatever color trail in the world. Then, you’ve to mod local trails to get some fun 😂😂😂👍🏻. Man, you’re a legend!!!

I would call out that the Sluice itself is a blue black or black trail. There are optional Double diamond lines, but most of the drops are not really DD, they are just mandatory and labeling them such keeps it safer so more trails like this can be built.

That rock lip jump Yoann said broke the dudes collarbone is the worst built thing on that whole trail. It's built for someone going super super slow, so if you hit it with speed you'll either get bucked OTB if you're not ready or just sky it into the next roller. I think I'm just going to take a shovel next time I go and try to fix it. I told the trail workers from COMBA last time I was there and they didn't change it.

You're talking about your pressures. I ride a few PSI higher than you do at Floyd Hill, but I think I may weigh a bit more at about 185lbs with gear. I think I may be erring a little high for caution as I have shredded many rear tires. I'm about 185lbs with gear and run 28R/27F on Floyd hill. How much do you weigh with gear?

Ya that's the worst built feature on the whole trail... really all those jumps are built wrong at the bottom, all too small for the speed that the trail has you carrying if you're not just holding the brakes.
