All Chaos Gods are born from and feed upon emotion. Nurgle as a 'Plague God' is itself a deception, for what truly empowers Nurgle aren't the diseases, but rather the despair they stir in the souls of the afflicted. THAT is what bloats the Grandfather's belly.

I love Nurgle, easily my favorite god next to Khorne. While most nature gods only like the pretty side of nature or emphasize the growth aspect, Nurgle is their darker counterpart. He focuses on the smallest creatures that are often seen as disgusting or disturbing. I have always believed that while he does treat his followers with love and caring, it is mainly because of the plagues and creatures they play host to, not the people themselves. Praise our Grandfather!

He is the Ultimate perversion of a fertility God one can think of. He Gifts everyone who is afraid of death with Life. And then he adds some more. Great vid! Ironically I started a Nurgle army just before the start of the pandemic. I even was sick with covid for 6 weeks right in the beginning. A host of awful personal and health issues followed; and what got me through the worst of it was pouring all my pain, misery, and despair into painting them. I loved the models even before diving into the lore of them. It is beyond fitting that Nurgle gifts his followers, not only with strength in adversity that lesser men would crumble to; but also with a jovial smile in spite of it all. I hope to see you do more videos of our patron god of plagues!

Kudos to the voice actors, editing, and images of course, but the script is absolutely fantastic. The descriptive language almost doesn't do the images justice, conveying repulsive monstrosities that would be too evil to put in Hell itself. These videos are extraordinary and you should be proud of what you do.

Years ago, Valve made a Warhammer themed treasure in Dota2, and one of the sets was for Pudge, and it's name was Champion of Nurgle, Now I know where the inspiration came from. And it's absolutely terrifying. Thank you book of choyer for this. Great voice acting too as always.

It makes sense to keep, maybe not all, but certainly the cooler ones for DLC. Its more or less certain that the first pieces of DLC will be for mortal champions of the chaos gods and to package them with chosen etc. makes sense.

Yeah, I am expecting some mortal units to come with a DLC lord pack. From what I have seen in older roster speculation videos they have more or less used up most demon options. Even without mortals I am thrilled with what we have been shown. Of course that's also a doom flag for me and Warhammer. The group I like the most is the one I end up being worst at playing.

It appears the story stems from Warhammer 40k lore and Ku'gath in Warhammer Fantasy Battle do not share the same characteristics but have some similarities. They both fell down grandfather's Nurgle's cauldron and drank it all and are trying to replace it, yet Ku'gath in WHFB isn't derpessed about it. Only Ku'gath WH 40k is. Here's the story. The perversion of mortal desires. It wasn't until I tried explaining the Chaos Gods to someone that I realized how much I enjoyed them. That the corruption comes from even simplistic events. A proud farmer that loses his crop from pests or disease, Nurgle smiles. A guard frustrated by injustice earns a glance from Khorne.

Except for malice no one knows who or what he will look apon next it could be a simple bacteria doing it's every day thing and he will be facinated by it or maybe it will be just some random human begger who he has taken a liking to (I've always head cannon that malice/malal resents chaos destruction anarchy but also order creation law ect ect he is basically a scientist mixed with a unholy demon from the deepest pits of hell and is both absolutely hated by every other god but when he suddenly disappears everyone kinda missed him cause without him who else would either mess up or make one up a plan in such way that even tcheezche gets a headache from it and I mean at the end of the day they may hate him but they also love the fact that he lightens up thier day by simply.being himself)

I'm pretty sure worshippers of Nurgle don't feel the pain of their body rotting though. I've seen it described as existing in eternal bliss as all of his gifts cause pleasure to the bearer. Oddly enough he seems to love his followers in a way. It's why he's referred to as the grandfather. If I had to pick a chaos God to follow it'd be Papa Nurgle for sure. I've even read instances in 40k lore where nurgles greater demons the Great Unclean Ones offer his opponents the opportunity to leave with their lives on more than one occasion. Obviously they choose to fight anyways but still lol. No other Chaos God or their followers would do that.

I like the concept of the greater demons having a dark sense of humour, like imagine being out on a war with pestilence personified. You meet his greatest champion and the first thing he says is probably some racist joke and then he just walks over you...
