I need prayers and strength. My husband wants a divorce. He committed adultery with a woman he works with and now he wants to divorce me so he can freely see other women. I'm crushed. There's a gaping wound in my heart. My soul cries out to God for help and wisdom. I still love him and I've forgiven him. The pain is unbearable at times. Please prayer for my marriage. This is so sad to hear, but you and your husband have been added to my prayers and I know God will give you the strength to get through. God is with you even in this dark time. Let His light lead you, and, looking only to God (and not focusing on the immediate problem) may you and your husband be given the wisdom and patience to work it out according to God's will. Whatever the outcome, know that you are so loved by the One who created you (God), the One who died for you (The Lord Jesus), and the One who dwells in you (the Holy Spirit). All things happen for a reason, and when we're all in heaven the Lord will reveal these things to us xxx

I smile every time I see the camera showing the congregation. There is a man that truly loves God teaching the Scripture from the pulpit. His listeners are intently listening. They are taking notes and greatly anticipating Dr. Stanley's words. I smile because of this. However, I also smile because I see people of many races sitting together and enjoying Scripture teaching. They sit together without racial lines or societal issues separating them. True believers that walk in the Holy Spirit can join together and worship the Lord without hatred for one another in their heart. There should never be an "us and them" attitude in any true Christian. Imagine what this world would be like if we all lived on this earth together without prejudice or hate in our hearts.

Christmas Eve, I went to get a haircut. Afterwards, my hairdresser and I went for a drink; I soon found myself in his hair salon, w/a personal need I didn't handle in the restaurant. Afterward, he surprised me with a sexual offer (he's at least 20 years my junior). For many years and by choice, I've been without male companionship. He kissed and hugged me; impulse made me return this simple intimate act. I was temped, but couldn't go through with it. I felt Jesus there, in between us reminding me of the desire of the flesh is a vessel overflowing with sin. Satan was there thinking, "I got her," but he was wrong. I was joyful, praising God for giving me the strength to resist what I knew would've been an awful choice. I emerged victorious, as I plan to emerge when my time on this earthly plane's over, for my greatest desire is to bathe in the warmth, light, life and love that is Jesus Christ for all eternity.

To be completely honest Dr Stanley I was thinking so many lustily, sexual thoughts this week..just being frustrated single for the moment, without a mate and ready to go out here an put matters into my own hands and disobey what God is telling me..Wait!! Wait until the time is right, MY (Gods) timing!! God knows I needed this message after such a crazy week of thinking about doing things God has told me not to do, with especially women God has told me not to even entertain whatsoever! 09/09/2018 anthony plowden Since you admitted to struggling with sexual temptations, please don't play into satan's hands!! #1.Get into the Word & study the scriptures concerning being faithful to Him in this area. #2.Find a good Bible preaching/teaching church. #3.Find strong Christian brothers within that church that you believe you can discreetly confide in, concerning your struggles & that you can be accoutable to. Iron sharpens iron!!🗡 #4. Be *extremely* careful as to what you allow your eyes to see. Men are very visual, that's the way God created you, so you're drawn to things much more easier than a woman would be. So, *guard* what you watch on tv, the movies, etc. as well as things just from every day life that come up unexpectedly. You know, like those "pop-up" ads on the Internet of sexy, scantily clad women. Oh, also look up *Tony Evans Ministry* , [Understanding Kingdom Sexuality] is a Sermon of Dr. Evans, among others & search other excellent Ministers that teach on how to remain strong & pure in the Lord. Uncompromising truth , No " SUGARCOATING " of sin . Sin is sin, breaking God's commandments . To address the subject of sin we don't have to be politically correct . On the other hand, All have sinned and come short of His Glory. So we need to repent and ask God for His forgiveness through Jesus Christ , Never to repeat that sin , guided by the Holy Spirit... I am grateful for Charles Stanley sharing God's Love and Wisdom for years and years. I never had a father, at age 17, I had my mother call my father and mentioned I would like to speak to him and my father said 'No!' Then I heard Charles Stanley's boive on TV and knew right then Charles Stanley be my TV Dad. Charles was the perfect dad/father the one I wanted. The fun part is - when my unbelieveing friends would be in my home and if Charles was on TV I would always say, " Hurry, look! My Dads on TV! Just when they started to pay attention to Charles I woyld explain I adopted Charles to be my Dad. Charles, I always wanted to thank you in person for your servitude and investing God's Word to all. I love you Charlea and that Jesus made you my TV Dad!

When he mentioned alcohol.. from the bowl, he woke me right up. It is something..the devil has used over and over in my life to destroy me. I will be on fire seeking GOD, then very subtlety.. after working on so many projects.. that little voice" you've been working hard... just 1 beer won't hurt" after that I find myself at the bar drinking the night away.. defenseless, exposing myself to so much danger.. losing my phone, keys money.. then I'm sick for days, calling in to work... How did this even happen??? If only I stopped to think about the consequences 🤕

His books are just as helpful. I started reading this ministry's book as a teen girl. And I was blessed by finding his book at a time i needed it; this happened a number times as i grew up. Now much older, i am grateful to see him still faithfully sharing the word.

"I wish I woulda never...," said myself to myself this week concerning all, especially the last relationship I ever had. I'm still single...for now. I could have stayed single and let the Holy Spirit give me someone. All the pain, emptiness, bitterness, anger, resentment and rage is a waste of days/years and time when the wrong relationships ends...only to remain single. "I shoulda or wish I never woulda...." what a waste of words. Wait on God! It's more peaceful that way.

God knew I needed to hear this. I've been in a battle with habitual sin. And it all comes from my weakness. God was the only thing that gave me strength and I ignored it because of my loneliness and I fell. I'm so glad Charles is able to preach about things like this so clearly and I do believe God created such a person to deliver this at the moment I need it most

This has been me too… since I was young and it was only gotten worse this year, until God woke me up and put me through this season I’m in rn. That lonely feeling can only be satisfied by Jesus. Anything else filling that void isn’t worth it😞 prayers for you, and also pray for me that I recover
