Our body is capable of forming bone in two unique ways. In this video we will examine intramembranous ossification and the processes that allow it to take place.

Its not an issue of material, it is an issue of the high volume of material that is testable.

I think it's important to specify that intramembranous bone formation originates from MSC's and NOT from cartilage precursors.

This is a great presentation. Your use of color, to show sequence, is genius. In depth, good pace and nice simple sketches. Downside is, that your voice is so pleasant, it's lulling me to sleep....the black background looks awesome but triggering my melatonin levels...lol....Thank you for sharing. It is helpful.

intramembranous ossification usually occurs in flat bones. For long bones, they go through endochondral ossification instead.
