Thank you so much for these tutorials, they're really great and helpful! I have one question though, and it might sound stupid, but is it possible to drag a clip/banner or however you want to call it, without dragging the keyframes?

You can extend a layer by clicking and dragging, but if you drag a layer the keyframes move with it. You can always move them back though!

Better is subjective, I've gotten used to doing the maths. If you know the figures, then you can save valuable screen estate.

faced the same issue. i just highlighted the text at the back and changed the opacity to 0% instead. got the same result.

so if i want to add some text effects to a video in premiere, should i do the graphics in after effects without having a background and export it and then import the exported AE file to premiere and that will be it :D ?

That's exactly how to do it. In Creative Cloud you can create live links by dragging your composition to the project window of premiere pro. Then, any changes you make in After Effects will be reflected.
