It looks really cool I have a DigiTech Trio full band Looper and it took me 4 months to get that thing working right! I can just imagine how long it would take me 2 get this thing going. But for some people to be very cool to have I guess I just got too old. LOL

Does the articulation midi mapping play well at all with Trillian? Getting the EZ bass sequencer to feed it note on note off would be simple enough but when you add in all the tasteful staccato and accents and slides and noises, Trillian has those mapped out over the whole 88 keys in a full range multi, I'm just hoping there's a way for EZ bass to speak the right language to drive Trillian at some point with the same level of intimacy as their internal sampled basses, Toontrack put in the work on the sequencing and automation but you can't hold a candle to Spectrasonics sampling quality. Combining the two will be a lush aural combination

It has so many features from SD3 that is almost a Superior library instead of an EZ series library. I wonder if they will ever release this as a Superior library with deeper mixing flexibility and more multisample layers

Can you flip that bass view 180 degrees like you'd see it when you're playing? Because the view shown in the video is to me an undesirable viewpoint. I'd rather see it NOT like someone else see's it but how I see the fretboard when I'm playing. Dig? ? ? I think it's a valid point.

Why does this seem more flexible and capable than EZ Keys? I hope they implement some of this capability into EZ Keys.

I bet the first add-on will be Thunderbird inspired or acoustic. Going to buy upon initial release, its interesting software. Just wish we had more control over cab sound, mic position and even possibly room sound.

one of the most fun parts for me wen making a song is to create bass lines and drums patterns , this Plugins looks amazing but is not for me, but still want to try it to see what is capable of is amazing how far AI has come

If you’re proficient at bass and drums and have plenty of time to sit down and play the actual instruments it’s not necessary but I can honestly say EZDRUMMER is life changing.

Will it do lower tunings? That's usually when things fall apart.

it goes to A0 which is drop A on a bass. I really want this but I'm going to hold off until they update it or add a lower tuned library. it really sucks because i play just one note lower in drop G#. Eurobass goes low and sounds amazing, but it doesn't have all the nice features that this has

Yes, we still need bass players! This just makes it easy for songwriters to slap ideas together. See what I did there? With the pun? Slap? Like slapping a bass? Get it? I think I needlessly dumbed that down pretty far. I blame caffeine.

Hi, Leslie! Thanks for your interest. After choosing a groove, you can adjust the duration of each note in EZBass’s MIDI editor. You can also take that MIDI information and drag it into a MIDI track in your DAW, where you can assign it to other instruments and access more editing tools. Can I also use my midi controller to play it like a virtual instrument? When I go into the MIDI in settings window it's just a square with a diagonal line and I can't figure out what to do. In EZKEYS, I just go into the MIDI in settings and it shows my midi controller and I just click on it and then it works. Thanks!

Hello, Steve! That MIDI Input selection tab is just for input velocity curve. In the Settings menu click Audio/MIDI Setup at the bottom of that menu. Click "MIDI Device," and a list of any connected/installed MIDI devices will appear in a list to the right. Simply click the box next to the MIDI controller to place a √ in the box, click APPLY then OK to make that take effect. Thanks for the interest! can u tune each individual string? ie set it to a drop tuned guitar?

Hello, Jordan! EZbass doesn't exactly work like that. You can modify the tuning of the bass, but it's really just a sampled instrument automatically following whatever chord progression you lay out for it. If you want to write your own bass line using it as a virtual instrument, you can, and you can certainly pick any notes you want to be played. I'm not sure what the lower limit is at this time, but it can certainly handle a low D. Thanks for the interest! Not yet but I'm hoping there will be a fretless EZX for it in the future. I'm also expecting they will sample a lot of the mainstays of the bass world like Rickenbacker, P-Bass, Warwick, etc. The fact that the included grooves come from real bass players is a nice plus, so we can be sure they will also have midi packs in the future that align with their existing midi lines such as Songwriter, Ballad, Prog Rock, etc.

Well, when the only alternatives are 1) buy a couple of bass guitars and learn to play bass 2) pay big bucks for a session musician, I'll choose EZBass any day.

I think it is ultimately tweakable to make it sound as humanly as possible. You can push the notes back and forth in time to add feel. I’ve used EZdrummer for years and these dudes know how to humanize the drums like no other. There own demo does it a bit more justice. Me personally, I have a cheap bass that doesn’t sound great, so if I can write parts then replace with the ezbass audio, my recording quality just got better.
