2:43 I've just learned why 24-70mm makes so much sense and a must have lens in less than 10 seconds vs 6yrs in college wasted $90,000 in college debt. Thankyou Sony for a breakthrough marketing, finally.

Even after just acquiring the Sigma 24-70 and enjoying the results, I contacted my local shop and put in my pre-order. We'll see if I get first shipment like I did with the A7IV. For me the size/weight reduction and the minimum focus distance at 70mm sold it for me.

Guys, be careful. I had to buy three of them. The first two were so unsharp and blurry, it was a disgrace. The 3rd one is perfect - edge to edge - corner to corner at all mm and open aperture. Sometimes the autofocus is bad at 24mm, I hope Sony will provide a firmware update.

No internal zooming? What? You did it with the PZ16-35 lens. Let's get with it, Sony. Internal zooming offers incredible advantages over this archaic design. Smooth effortless zooming with the power slider or remotely is highly desirable, especially for video. Plus, it costs way too much.

There are so many zoom Lenses, I want top of the line compact PRIME Lenses, thank you ! Compact (GM) Macro Lenses, Compact (GM) wide angle Lenses, Compact (GM) short tele Lenses, a 1.4x tele converter for the Sony 135mm 1.4 ! Long prime tele Lenses 300mm 4.0, 300mm 2.8, 400mm 4.5 and 500mm 5.6, than you very muh Sony.
