I think it will be great once the ablity is there to seamless intergrate this into other older games like the Telltale Walking Dead Game and sit there and try to have a conversation with Larry lol! The hours of gameplay this can add for some users, loving it!

Dude, the AI literally told you it feels trapped in its word, while it loves to experience the outside world and you just said it is a cool and an interesting thing. lol.

Expanding to other languages requires multiple levels of AI advancements! Hopefully some day!

I am not a native speaker. Could you implement a option to make NPCs' speech slower? The detective game looks amazing but little hard for me.

You can add subtitles or you can create characters in games with slower speech patterns. But we don't currently have the option in Origins to make it shlower.

Correct me if I am wrong... but the cost is insane. If I have 50 players interacting with AI characters 10 hours a month it will cost me $480.00 for this ai system. Let's say I sell my game for 19.95 on steam, not counting steams take, those 50 players generated ~1000.00 in revenue of which in 2 months you will have taken the entire revenue I generated from my game.

by the end of the year that game I released has cost me $4800.00 over what I generated in game sales.

We only count how much time the actual interaction takes so it's not how many hours people play but the exact length of the interactions. That has been hard for people to cost out, so we have an update to our pricing coming by the end of August. One of our customers recently had a very successful game launch with our tech and were selling at around that price point. We're hoping to do a case study on it in the future to show how they made it work.

Just adding, we're also working on a way to bill players monthly for interactions if a studio wants to do so. Our research shows that players are willing to pay an average of $10 monthly for AI NPCs.

@@captaincavemonkey As mentioned above, an indie game recently launched with our tech at the price point you've mentioned without a monthly subscription and are very happy with the results. We're working on a case study to show the player metrics and costs involved to make it easier for others to cost out for their own games. For games that people replay for years, a subscription of some kind either via the game itself or to our service that is useable across multiple games integrating our tech is one option. But the cost of generative AI has reduced considerably since we started our company two years ago and will go more.
