She wouldnt be underrated ig she was the star of the original captain marvel movie, intead of staring in the wanadavision show. Its f×cked the the OG captain marvel didn't have her own movie. Instead they opted for Carol. Yes ik maonica wasnt technically 1st but she's miles ahead of carol who was the 6th/7th captain marvel while monica was the 2nd.

Man, all the characters of the Marvel Family are Amazing especially the women like Carol, Monica and Kamala. Hopefully Captain Marvel 2 will feature all 3 of them.

Dont you think they've done it all backward and wrong way round though? I mean Feige knows his Superheroes surely he could have introduced the Rambeau character First into the MCU and then Danvers later. It just annoys me sometimes makes me feel they're trying to keep ethnic peoples down in some way. Imo the Black Panther movie is the only real example of true "Diversity" we have seen in recent times in pop culture and Entertainment.

I’d say because Stan Lee and Jack Kirby set that standard for Marvel. The Fantastic Four, the first Marvel comic to set that standard, really opened up the marvel universe. They were in the first solo Spider-Man book, visited Wakanda, rediscovered Atlantis, and met the inhumans. The FF were really something so it’s a shame where they are now to the public.

I thought of an idea. That maybe you can introduce Blue Marvel and FF at the same time. So they left earth back in the 60's or 70's to investigate what gave the FF their powers. Instead they get trapped in the negative zone. They are released due to Thanos IG ripping a hole in the negative zone. We get introduced to them and the Annihilation wave.

Nestor Robles - Yeah, introducing a character that a lot of people are unfamiliar with despite the character being "around forever", I don't see the issue. Obviously Marvel want to highlight her somewhat now that she's being introduced into the MCU (Where the vast majority of viewers won't be familiar with the character)

@@iamtamashii4184 - I disagree, I don't think anyone who enjoys Marvel via any medium "needs" to read or watch anything. They can appreciate the characters however they want, and if they choose to expand their knowledge that's great, but if they want to stick with a particular mediums version that's great too. (People enjoy things in different ways, there's no right or wrong, nor is there a need to do anything in any particular way)

i really do love how theres no mention of monica's father frank. inspiring her to be a superhero. her father was a retired fire fighter who supported her but then again I guess since the movie did the whole "black fathers are deadbeats and leave their kids" trope in favour of " white girl power" , its no surprised frank isn't mentioned when he was a prominent figure in monicas life and it was nice to see a healthy father/daughter relationship.
