Leth was actually a whole curse in this video. Every time he said "I think you'll make it," "You can make it!" etc, they just died. Also absolutely died laughing from this, especially Rizzo, poor guy just got fucked at nearly every opportunity lmao.

Everytime he gave advice, too. Boost boost boost! And they stop making good turn decisions. Felt like he was more of a distraction when he got excited.

I think you should have had various sized items instead of just a barrel. The varying shapes would be a bigger challenge and lot more interesting

This looks really fun, some possible suggestions (if they are possible to implement): - varying barrel sizes - zones that increase point gain if killed in them (for instance, teams get a point for players demoed between 20-40 meters up, 2 points for players 40-60 meters up, etc), then the top is a huge point bonus - instead of zone start point accumulation once players are on the ramp, again, getting to the top is a big point bonus - drop power ups as well, such as full boost, demo lead player of opposing team, boost power increase The reason for the added points is so that runs never feel like they are a waste. You are always accumulating score, meaning survival is important. This is more fun for players as they feel like they are constantly contributing to the team, rather than the 1/2 players here that didn't even finish and got 0 points for their team.

Love it. The higher you get, the higher the score multiplier. Shielding teammates would result in saves (I think I'm exceeding the capabilities of the engine now) and the higher up you bump and demo the other team, the higher the score you get (encouraging players to not troll starting areas)

And the biggest one imo, tone down either the size or the frquency of a barrel so that people have a chance to cross over within one barrel gap. And don't have them spawn on top of players ofc

This was so insanely frustrating to play, yet so rewarding to beat, it's a great hard map that takes determination and grit for those lower in rank, great job Leth!

Some suggestions, some more realistic than others: Have the barrels roll from higher up than the safe zone (so theres never RNG whether or not one drops on you right at the end) and 100 boost pads here and there at the sides where its more dangerous so theres a high risk high reward kind of deal there. Not sure just how mechanical you can make it, but having different types of barrels (faster/slower, bouncy, etc) and power ups that make you invulnerable to 1 hit, lay down an oil slick that slows others etc

building off of two previous comments, it would be cool to throw some variety in with the barrels and terrain as well as reducing rng by moving barrel spawn. but also add scaled down versions of rumble items. maybe making it so the other rumble items can interact with other player vehicles. than its a mix between sumo and a rumble race!

His secret is he records several hours a day, and then releases them in 20 - 30 minute videos everyday. He can record for 5 or 6 hours one day and have 12 days worth of content.

This is sick! One alt version you could do is having a few randomly located ramps along the way that would cause the barrels to go up in the air for a bit. Wouldn’t have to have it bounce but it could act as a way of giving clutch save opportunities while also mixing it up and adding even more chaos! Love the vid as always and cool to see so many random and new names in the lineup of guests!

It might be more interesting if there was a way to tell where the next barrel would be spawning, with a delay. Like a half-transparent barrel appearing 3 seconds before the next spawns. It leaves some place for anticipation and removes the results of randomness.

Some power up pads sprinkled along the side would make it interesting, enticing the player to go to the most dangerous side for a nitro (think Rumble) or a temporary shield which could absorb one barrel hit. To add further meta strat, a car hitting a barrel could destroy it, so a team could either shield one player for a point (sacrificing themselves) or deliberately bump opposing team into a barrel to create an opening.

I'm so glad you added the Halo reference for this. There is another Halo mode similar to it called Jump rope where its people driving vehicles down a ramp to try to hit those "jumping the rope" that would be a neat idea to add/adjust this mode!

I feel like staying toward the center as much as possible is the best strat here. RNG is still gonna reign supreme, but it looked like staying toward the center, more people got near the top quicker. This looks like a load a fun!

Hmm, I saw those balls spawning at the top. Are you using the ball's random spawning mechanics to determine the spawning of the barrels? Having them spawn, hit a switch to spawn a barrel, then despawn the ball for it to repeat? And I think they are rolling by just annimation right? Not by physics? And what if they were to fall by physics? Giving quite choatic drops? Does haymaker work on objects that arent defined as a ball? Man I wish I knew how to make maps... XD Great vid though 👌

Yo @Leth I have an idea! This is already an rng based game. Maybe you should make a "finish line/area" so the players don't have to pass through the spawn point of the barrels. Either making the barrels not demo you in this area, or it is a "finish line" that teleports you to the safe area once you cross the threshold. This way players won't be insta demoed by trying to beat the spawn location. It would make for funny content as players would essentially be playing "chicken" with barrels to get to the safe zone before they get demoed. Love the content and I hope you see this!

Maybe make it to where if you trigger a certain thing, you can get a iron fist power up and just destroy the barrels. If it ain't possible, at least add a bouncing barrel

I wonder to make this better Leth and easier with Points can you put 1 blue goal and 1 orange goal and 1 ball at the top? so if a blue teammate gets up there, to get a point they have to put the ball into there corresponding color to make the point count?
