I thinking that it would would help the date wheel legibility if the printing of the numbers would been better orange. Maybe even the frame aswell (?). The rest of it looks perfect. Thank Simon. Proxima and San Martin dueling for summer sound interesting 🤔 for a review. Cheers mate

I don’t mind it mate as unlike the time, how often do you need to check the date + it makes the dial look much cleaner and not an eyesore. Good suggestion on the orange though, that would looks sweet 👍👍

This is a sweetie. Love almost everything about is. I'd like to see it in a more traditional color theme. One thing I like and no one has really mentioned in detail is the length of the hands. They're almost perfect - like Hamilton level of perfect. The hour hand goes all the way to the minute track, and the minute hand"s tip just clips the hour indices. Even the paddle on the second hand just touches the hour indices. Just amazing (yeah, I'm kind of a hand freak).

The only thing that I don't like is the counter balance on the second hand is a bit too long.

Gorgeous watch, I just got nothing to match with it in my wardrobe. However, San Martins always deliver in quality, I just finished my review of their SN0140W Spirit Zulu Time and I just cant get it off my wrist to start experiencing the next watch up for review, guess you have experienced the same plenty of times already xD Great reviews as always, thank you and have a wonderful weekend!

This is what Proxima should have done with their PX1703, leverage a well-received model to create a range of vibrantly colored dive watches. I wrote as much in the comments for your PX1703 review. But they didn't, so a missed opportunity for Proxima and another hit for San Martin.

Bought this in the mint chocolate chip cookie color and absolutely love it. Only complaint is that I have a fairly average size wrist (around 7.5", I think) and the strap end barely clears the hoops. So, the strap is a bit shorter than I'd prefer.

It's the one thing I've heard about the SM watches in general. I'd probably have no chance with an 8.1" wrist !

Certainly not a deal breaker for me. It fits, just not much extra strap, unlike other watches I have. Maybe it's an Asian thing. Seikos I own fit fine. But I ordered one straight from Japan, and the strap was short. Anyway, was going to use this San Martin as my snorkel watch for my upcoming vacation. But not sure I have the heart to take it in the water, it's so nice.

Hi buddy. Very nice watch overall but the date wheel is just lost and the rehaut chapter/ ring is just off colour-wise. Good effort by SM though.

I know most people do like the colour matched date wheel but I'm not a huge fan of it. It just disappeares too much. There needs to be something to better balance out the dial, either a small truncated index next to it or a metal date frame.

I pretty much impulse bought the newest SN0116G-B from the Fruits series.😂 Three hander without a different case than this one, really looking forward to having it on wrist. Ordered the 🍊 version, but the 🥑 looks fantastic too. I’ve had a skin diver itch for a while now, thanks to those Zodiac 53s, so hoping this’ll scratch it.

Doesn’t anybody notice it? I didn’t buy this one (it is a beauty), because after looking carefully at the photos- there is a gap, a noticeable gap- between each indices and the chapter ring🤷🏼‍♂️. I can’t unsee it…

The £145, so does that mean UK customs on top? If coins used dropped it below £145, would it escape customs, or do they use original price on declaration?

I’ve only had to pay import at the point of checking out on AliExpress if the item is less than roughly £135, otherwise it’s always been ok. I hope that helps mate 👍👍
