Chris is the most captivating and lucidly articulate speaker that I have ever heard on so many topics. I gave up eating animal based products last November (with the exception of highly purified fish oils) to try an organic whole food plant-based diet. 3 months later I have never felt better and my fat tummy is gone! Listening to Chris just motivates me now to explore Veganism fully.

@Tate mctate what a weak argument. You think its only vegans that eat bread or avocados? You think more soy is eaten by vegans and only vegans than fed to your livestock. If your going to come trolling vegan channels at least do your home work. Doing what is" possible and practical " is what vegans follow, having to grow food whether its vegan or not will kill insects , lentils beans and veg, there will be animals that die,but whats the alternative, dont eat and die? Ridiculous. You cant condone your behaviour that causes more damage and kills more animals because insects die in the production of all food. Think about the animal of food fed to livestock, the insects killed in that production, your worse than us,then those aninals die so You can eat a steak.

Awesome! The world is starting to realise what's best.. and that's veganism. For your health, for the animals, for the planet. At first you may slip up and make mistakes, finding your feet.. But it's fully possible and you will feel heaps better for not putting rubbish into your body.

I am a vegan that occasionally eats choc so ok not always perfect but that's missing the point as it's about making the effort and with many people cutting out meat and dairy or just cutting down to begin with it makes a huge difference! That's what it's about, making the effort and not chastising people for not always being totally on it or ourselves for that matter but making the changes and reaching out to these animals with compassion and the respect they deserve x cant think of anyone more suitable to be the ambassador for veganism than chris packham. And yay! We can still eat hobnobs!

Oh Chris I love you so MUCH!!!!! You make me laugh as well. You are so brave and outspoken on so many issues. Your love of wildlife. Sometimes you sound like me. You have really made me laugh. I love Hobknobs, hooray! I love my meat and feel so bad about it but I might give it go! You feel so much better when you eat just good healthy food and good for my delicate mental state. I would love to meet Chris. I am trying not to take my own life all the time and wildlife is the only thing left in this dark world worth trying to stay alive for.

Chris, good on ya mate! your honesty is endearing & encouraging. Hell, I didn't know about hobnobs either! I wouldn't call myself a vegan, rather a 'vegetarian who avoids dairy products' (I eat honey & wear partially leather shoes) - but similarly I am keen to take it further. I have an incredibly debilitating medical condition, yet since changing my diet over the last 10 months the results on my health have been astounding. we are fortunate to be educated people & I for one have no excuse but to go vegan as soon as is practicable, for all the obvious reasons🐈🐔🐸🐷🦊🐑🐫🐟🐛🐝🐂❤❤

Don't worry Chris. Oreos, many supermarket brands of bourbon creams, ginger nuts, and oaty biscuits are all vegan (depending on your views on palm oil).

Just seen him get excited at the idea of killing fish? BBC Documentary: In search of the lost girl. (Link) He asks the tribes man excitedly if he can have a go fishing with the harpoon gun. Then proceeds to do so. I understand the tribe need to fish... However if vegan Packham could have remained an impartial observer & just documented the lifestyle. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05vr00p

It's false that methane accounts for more than fossil fuels but animal agriculture as a whole accounts for more than transportation due to c02 released by clearing forests and the use of fertilisers, as well as methane from cows.

@@LeeDowningKeatactually you were right the first time around. These 'puds' are high fat, so aiming for whole foods plant based is most optimal, otherwise many vegan icecreams are lower fat :)
