Does anyone else get excited to hear the Zoe is vlogging? Love her long vlogs especially at the moment 😁 and Alfie’s of course 😉

i used to watch alfie 5 years ago.. coming back now, he has grown so much and he still inspires me to this day.

I haven't watched Zoe and Alfie for ages and I'm so glad his video popped up because I forgot how much I miss their videos

The most important rule of learning the guitar is to never give up easily and practice daily! It'll get quite frustrating after awhile, but that's the fun part. Practice basic scales, picking patterns and basic chords to get used to it! Good luck!

Too cook the fried egg you use more oil than normal and then once it has cooked a bit you spoon some hot oil from the pan and put it on the yolk which cooks it just enough using the boiling oil love you guys sm 💖💖

Hey Alfie, awesome to here you are learning guitar! Learning the guitar properly is undoubtably the best thing I’ve ever done, I can just pick it up now and play anything, from a dire straits solo to an AC/DC headbanger! Good luck with it mate, it might be slow to begin with, but it will be worth it in the end! There are a few guys on KZfaq that do great lessons and tutorials! Guitar Lessons 365 and Shut up and Play guitar I have found very helpful. Have fun! 😃

Fender Play has a 3 month free trial for quarantine! One of the best online lesson plans - choose your type of guitar and your favourite genre to learn! Also, make sure you feel comfortable with both using a pick and finger picking; I initially started learning guitar years ago without a pick and I found it super difficult to pick it up once I was already comfortable without it

'Guitar Tuna' is an amazing app for tuning your guitar! Also, try and learn some scales before you move onto learning electric guitar peices

Also there is a lot of strain on the delivery guys and postman who I think are hero's in themselves delivering the necessities to people

Netflix Recommendation: The End of The F***ing World. It’s so good x

You can use this app on the appstore called guitartuna which will tune your guitar very accurately through your phone. For beginners I'd reccomend learning the basic chords such as Em G Cm Dm Am A. It is gonna take maybe a 1 month to learn those chords well. But after you learn those you will be able to play most songs. If you search up a song and the guitar chords of the song you will be most likely able to play it. The other route is learning finger style which take a lot longer to learn.

Your fingers will be really sore but the more you play the more the calluses build up and the easier it is for you to play. Yousician is a good app to use as you can play along with songs. I would first work on chords and then maybe some tab work

- For the guitar learning, Im in Australia so it could be different, but theres also an app on Iphone and android which is free called 'guitar tuna' (yes like the fish) which it very accurate with tuning but it also has a full chord library which I find use-full when Im lost on a chord. - A website call 'ultimate guitar' (again different country, not sure if its available in England), is amazing for finding songs and tunes to play. Theres basically every song you could think of, other people have found the chords/notes for all in one website. - A youtuber 'LetsPlayGuitar" is really good too! A big fan of his work and is very helpful with leaving songs. Have fun and stay committed!!!!!

Ive been watching every vlog since you started daily vlogging again and I just wanted to say thank you because I think I an speak for most people when I say you've been the highlight of our day even if its 10 minutes or your just filming yourself on your laptop and it just being a chill vlog. Its also made me think of ways to occupy myself during quarantine and start to do stuff that both you and Zoe have been doing like tie dying some of my own clothes , get a Nintendo switch to play animal crossing with friends and family , try getting sea monkeys to look after myself. Please keep doing the q&a as I think there helping a lot of people out there , I also have to put out there that I love the relationship between you and your mum , dad and sister I think its something you should really treasure. I've been playing guitar and writing songs for over 10 years now and while I had lessons for around a year, which was good for basic things like learning chords and notes but what helped me the most was picking a song that I really really loved and learning that. I think my first song was hallelujah by Jeff Buckley and I learnt that and practiced over and over until I perfected it and got it right and then I branched myself out to other songs. Sticking with one song at the beginning really helped me feel comfortable with the chords and the guitar so it made it easier on me when learning other songs that also featured those chords because I already knew them pretty well. Only videos are also helpful, if you prefer more of teacher student kind of vibe but that really depends on how you want to learn. Hope this helps!

the best way to fry an egg the spanish style, with crispy edges, cooked whites and runny yolks, it couldn´t be better! I´ll tell how to make it here, really easy but don´t be scared bc the oil might splatter, heat up a pan with oil, a lot of it, enough to be able to scoop it and cover the eggs with the hot oil so that it cooks the top while the bottom browns and gets all crispy and delicious, take it out and finish it with some salt, BON APPETIT!! (pro tip dip the some nice bread in that gorg yolk :)

Downloaded yousician it helped me so much get back in to the guitar I played it last year all the time and i want in to first year this year and I didn’t pick it up again until Christmas and yousician helped me xxxx

There is an app you can download called ‘ultimate guitar’, you can search almost any song you can think of and it’ll show you the chords, you can get a membership with them too and other guitar players put up tutorials on how they have learnt songs to teach you or help you to learn them, also you can get guitar lessons on there.. :) xx

A big part of the effect your videos have on my is that you speak english (i’m not a native english speaker) which is the language i think in when im anxious. the cocktail spoon is to be used in a mixing cup to mix and chill the drink - its an alternative to shaking a drink in a shaker. the spoon is meant to be stirred around the outside of the glass only. very peticular... not sure why haha but watch some videos, it's fun to learn about! :P

Hey Alfie! Since you bought a Fender guitar you should use the fender play app/website! I used it to learn how to play the bass and it was awesome! They give super important tips not only on the basics of music but also some really cool tips! :))

Playing a game called rocksmith helped me learn guitar so much! It’s sort of like guitar hero but you use an actual guitar, the difficulty also increases as you get better, makes learning so much more interesting

We have the same orange amp (which I love because it's cute and goes well with our interior decor) and a very similar electric guitar at our house. My advice is to learn scales first. Also try learning 12 bar blues. It's a great start for song writing.

Alfie you can also make a gin gin mule which is a cross between a gin and tonic and a Moscow mule. All you need is lime,gin,ginger beer and mint. You can also add cane sugar syrup if you want it sweeter

Alf , there's a channel called Marty Music on KZfaq, he does tutorials for beginners and also a lot of song tutorials as well and a good tip would be . Never ignore the pinky on your left hand cuz it's one of the beginner mistakes and also you can get a fender play to learn

For the perfect fried eggs, spoon the hot butter/oil from the pan over the egg white, so that it cooks without overcooking the yolk. With a lid, you might end up with an overcooked yolk instead of the supper yummy runny one 🍳

The ultimata guitar app is amazing, it makes learning a lot easier and it has so many songs, like you name the song and they’ve got it. It also contains the tabs which are like diagrams which are easy to follow too xx ❤️❤️
