ich habe schon viele Varianten von trockene Blumen gehört. Aber diese ist einfach klasse. Flötistin und Streicher sind einfach nur fantastisch!

Zofia came to me by way of Schubert's 1st Symphony 2nd movement (Karajan-Academy). I have discovered another gem in classical (and other) music. I love LOVE her playing. Thank you Zofia for posting this and other flute music. I love this instrument and your interpretations.

I performed this when I was 18. Such a wonderful piece. This is an absolutely WONDERFUL rendition!! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!!

Wow! First time I heard this piece with strings accompaniment. And much better than with piano. Wow! Deep, resolute sound of the strings. Amazing flute! Plays with confidence. Perfect harmony and communication with the strings. So wonderful.

Makes wonderful difference. So rich and expressive. I've always had difficulty with piano version. This makes sense. Absolutely wonderful performance.

YESSSS!! The ending of the first note after the run was too clipped. But this ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Beautiful and powerful and wonderful. I have performed this but have never heard it with orchestra. Such a beautiful and powerful rendition with orchestra. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND BRILLIANT!!! OMG!! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!! With orchestra... ONG!!!

< Trockene Blumen > ist das 18. Lied aus dem Zyklus < die schöne Müllerin > und liegt diesem Werk, das ja unbearbeitet Kammermusik ist, zugrunde. Übrigens kam es häufiger vor, dass Schubert sich aus seinen Liedern heraus kammermusikalisch inspirieren ließ, so z. B. - sehr bekannt - in seinem Quartett in d-Moll, aber auch im 4. Satz des A-Dur -Quintett mit < die Forelle >. Seine Klavier-Fantasie schließlich, die - so glaube ich - von 1822 ist, hat < der Wanderer > zur Grundlage. Mein Lieblingslied < Gretchen am Spinnrade > übrigens geht ja lyrisch auf Goethe zurück und der mochte Schubert überhaupt nicht und wahrscheinlich empfand er als Trunkenbold, der nur selten Inspirierendes zu vermitteln hatte, wobei er als Naturwissenschaftler eher eine Komplettfehlausgabe war, wohl eine gewisse Bedrohung durch Schuberts Genie, das gerade im Lied, das in der stilisierten Form vollständig mit Schubert verbunden ist, dergestalt zum Ausdruck kommt, dass er vom Ausdruck der Stille der Musik nichts nimmt, indem er das gesungene Wort ajoutiert, er schafft vielmehr eine Symbiose zwischen Wort und Klang, die dem Menschen die Möglichkeit gibt seinen Platz in der Schöpfung nachzuvollziehen...
