Just love these balsa builds, as far as I’m concerned they look so graceful especially with the translucent film showing the wing ribs, great build and didn’t she float well, great results, thank you for uploading. 👌👍

Oh wow, this is exactly what I have been looking for to get back in the sport, a real build and not just glass and foam! Slightly concerned that the instructions are in German, but perhaps that adds to the challenge?!

Thanks, she is a great flier, and I fly her alot. There is also instructions in English but you have to Google it to find it. Enjoy

Thanks, at only 980 grams it does not need much lift to stay aloft, great relaxing flyer 👍👍

Классно, а мы в 70-е все детали ,узлы, фюзеляж, крылья, стабилизатор для планеров и таймерных моделей делали сами....От чертежа до строительства модели....

Great build. I built one last year too. Amazing thermal sniffing glider. Your colour choice looks really good. How is it at height with so much white?

Thank you, i find that i have the most fun below 150m so that's where I stay. Highest I have been with this plane is about 350meters, thats more than enough for mye eyes 😂

John if your in the UK hyperflight supply lots of F5J models including the Introduction the kit is £169 they have recommendations for power esc and batteries etc

The kit maker is in Germany. Do they ship to the US? No translator on the page.

Der Heckbereich mit quermaserungsbeplankung ist eine einzige fehlkonstruktion. Als ob der Hersteller das Modell gezielt labil konstruiert hat. Als Modellbauer sollte man da reagieren.

Hi how do you join the outer wing section to the mid section?

Its a very easy system that involves a clip and a screwhead. It takes 2 sec to attach, genious. It's hard to explain but have a look at the manual and you will see

@@flypilot yeah I've seen that clip on a video very good idea but I meant the 2 outer wing panels with the dihedral s on them are their dihedral braces that come with the kit ? From the centre section of the wing it goes with dihedral twice

This is not a plane you fly in strong winds, you fly this in light to medium thermals.
