Whelp! C55 owner here. Always been super-curious about C32 and E55 so very jealous. Love the mods. W203 with 400 plus must be a monster. Small car with big power appeals to me for some reaason, lol.

Hey Mike nice video really like what you have done with your C32. I believe there were 4800 come into the US 2400 2002 1600 2003 and 800 2004. I have two 2003 one of which I’ve had 12 yrs now and my project C32 that I have had since 2020. I like how you did your air intake system, I have on my oldest Onyx’s a needswings system and it’s a pain to change every time I have to smog the vehicle in California. I am the second owner of Onyx’s. On my project vehicle Opal I have the SL55 air intake system with K&N filters and air box filter lifting rings to increase the air flow. The air filter actually sits blocking the air flow as the air enters the air filter box. But doing this mod lifts the box and as you mentioned the engine cover looks stupid with a gap and not aligning with the wider air filter box. Has the air accumulator reservoirs paint changed in color from the heat of the engine? My mods on Onyx’s are 64mm Clutch SC pulley, VRP short headers, Needswings intake, Kincaid killer chiller SC coolant heat exchanger OEtune ecu, H&R coils, bilstein sports shock, presently have a small SC coolant tank installed in the space between radiator fan and engine. Have a trunk tank and pump to install next time I work on the vehicle. My project just the sl55 intake and smaller pulley.

Beautiful car. Although I am not a big fan of mods, these are very tasteful. What do you do about parts for a car like this? I’m sure some are no longer available.

@vsutton007 -Thank you! Most parts are still available, but to your point, some are not. I recently had an issue with the power steering, and had to rebuild the pump, as they are no longer available.

Hello, greetings, success, I sold my Mercedes 2007 C230 sport to a friend 8/11 months ago and yesterday I bought it back from him, only in bad condition I will have to fix it, it won't be a problem. I really like this car, very compact, strong, fast, very good.

One of these days, I'll have a C32. Any thoughts on doing CLK front end? (Probably not on a mint survivor like yours.) I did CLK grill swap on my C55 and it looks superb in a Black Series/DTM sort of way. Car gets looks which I am not a fan of but I don't want to look like Grandma's C240.

@BOOMDANGHOLLA - Thank you! Yes, there are the stock headlights. On some Mercedes W203, they are not clear like these. I did replace the lense covers, as the original were cloudy

@YungMar650- Thanks for the interest. Yes, that is the plan. Currently, the e55 is apart. The headlights are out, front bumper is off, grill is out, etc. I had several parts painted. I plan on getting the car back together, and shooting footage while I do it. Then, once the car is back together I will do the same kind of video as this one

Hey brother i have a question about the c32 i own a 2003 w203 c32 but it wont start it was working for a while but im not able to get it to start again im just very confused as to why it may not start again itll like try n start but not completely as if it needed a push to start. I was wondering if you may have any idea as what may be wrong with it?

Did you have any issues with the engine? How is the oil consumption?

@andreistan6534 - Knock on wood, no issues outside of a few minor things here and there. The motor is healthy and very strong. Still runs amazing!

We AMG w203 owners don't sell 🙂 No c- class drives better and yes this includes w204 and w205. Also c32 mated to e92 SMG and tuned to 450hp is also the fastest c-class ever made. 100-200kph is 7 secs. Very nice C32 🎉

@rahmanabdul3430 - This motor is very similar to the one in the Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6. The transmission is a 722.6 which is extremely common in this era. Good luck with your project!
