Tips: Those using 2024 version, go to Display then click Thick Shells and Beam to get the same view in Mechanical as in the video. If that helps then let me know.

Tip: in 2024 R1 version, To get geometry (sketching), right click on geometry and select New Designmodular option to get the sketching as shown in video otherwise you will end up getting a new dark mode of sketching environment...

Because we applied ss it is isotropic material it distributes stresses equally in all directions.

Stress is force / area so at every point the force is equal and opposite since the body is at rest and area of cross section is constant so force is same and area remain same ( change due to constant volume is negligible since length increase is low) thus same stress

It's very useful series. BTW, would you please clarify about what you've try to explain at 33:52. about the geometry interface. You didn't complete as you got busy with the zoom meeting. I can't find the same interface as you're using here. Also it would be so helpful if you can relocate the top black grading so we can see the software options. Great explanation there! Thank you

Go to Tools>Options>Geometry input>Preferred geometry editor>Design modeler>ok

@@user-xp3bf7sr3n you can try to right click on the geometry and then select the "edit in design modeler" to get the exact same workspace.
