I want to know if the stones found in stores are actually real or just resemble the ones they're marketed as. Not the expensive ones, regular ones.

If you mean fine jewelry stores for the stores, those are actually real. If you mean "regular" as in like the 10 dollar rings in walmart or the "birthstone" jewelry in an avon magazine, those are often not the gemstones they are marketed as. It depends what you mean by "regular."
