If you want to learn how to read CT scans of the abdomen and pelvis proficiently, this video is an excellent starting point. The video covers the most clinically relevant CT anatomy in detail, and includes normal measurements where appropriate. Several abnormal cases are reviewed to illustrate clinically important anatomy. We finish with a detailed approach to reading CT of the Abdomen and Pelvis.

What's the mechanism of fat necrosis in acute pancreatitis. In pancreas it's understood because of lipase leaked from acinus or ducts leading to fat saponification and necrosis, but in books it's mentioned there's fat necrosis in omentum mesentry pericadium pleura and even synovial in joints like knee joint and subcutaneous fat of legs in acute pancreatitis. How this widespread fat necrosis occurs.
