Nice presentation, very well illustrated. Do you have any advise on how this process looks in Network Monitoring & Assurance Data Management. (NEs>Kafka>Bigdata architecture)

Hi Ashwath - Good question. While the processes, standards, policies & metadata management should ideally remain same for an organization, the difference could be how is metadata and data lineage collected due to complex nature of such systems. So, from the above, the process would remain the same - questions to ask would be - what is the metadata of the system? What is the lineage of Network monitoring system? What should be considered as a hop - server or application hosted by the server?, etc. This usually doesn't gets classified as a business process, but if there is a requirement (there can be in certain cases) to implement data governance for CTO systems, then the overall theme should remain the same and match the organisation's overall data governance strategy & processes. Hi Manas, thanks for the feedback. This is an introductory video which introduces higher level subject area. Since data ownership is closely associated with Data Stewardship, it has been bucketed there. When I cover these topics in detail, i will make sure to highlight your point.

I know nothing about Informatica. Is Data governance in Informatica foundation course easy for a beginner? Or 1st I will go for something else, gather knowledge about Informatica then do data governance foundation course?

Hi Tiyasa - I would recommend first do data governance foundation course to strengthen concepts and fundamentals & then go for tools like informatica, collibra, etc.
